I've been phoned by Henderson and Rockwell, from Quebec, Canada. It's a scam.
If it's the same as me, it's a scam scottag. They first ask you to pay an indemnity fee.
I have not heard anything.
suspicious goings on at GLW. a friend of mine was contacted regarding selling their (worthless) shares in GLW to an undisclosed 3rd party. has anyone else recd. such an approach?
Letters have been sent out liam1om, I've certainly received my copy. Perhaps you haven't got your copy because your holding is in a nominee account? Regardless, the company is dead and its listing is now worthless: You can download the administration update from Companies House for a nominal fee:
Me too, I think its disgusting that no one as even bothered to send out a letter. I would have thought the administrators would have contact us at least.
Same here - anyone know anything?
I've got a grand or 2 in there as well, absolute disgrace IMO.
Is there any chance of getting any money out of this now?? I've had no letters about whats going on and I am completely in the dark.
Told by a reliable source that all of the 'State of the art' systems + customer base and Directors moved to Unofon at end of January. What did Glow shareholders get (£0.00). Why is this Company still going - Just so that Anthony Batty (probably a mate of the Directors) can live off what little money the shareholders have given him.
just catching up on this, is that it for this stock, has it gone under or a different name thanks.

We have been unable to access the internet since Friday 03/12/04. Tried phoning customer services but can only get a recorded message Report an offensive/libellous post Re: glow e telecom [posted on: Dec 7, 2004 2:04 PM by mgmcc Reply They went into Administration on 15th November and it appears that they may now have ceased trading. 73F.html Report an offensive/libellous post Re: glow e telecom [posted on: Mar 5, 2005 5:12 AM by ian sanderson 410905 Reply I was supprised to see that Glow Telecom had folded I use Evemail which belongs to Glow. Although I have not lost my connection, it has been very poor during the rush hour 17.30 onwards with very busy lines. Has anybody any further upto date info. Thanks Report an offensive/libellous post Re: glow e telecom [posted on: Mar 13, 2005 4:18 PM by noojam55 Reply I have read with interest all of your comments on GlowInternet. As a customer, I have found the following information out: GlowInternet is a subsidary of the Telford based GlowTelecom and Glow Companies. GlowTelecom entered administration in November GlowTelecom has now relaunched as They are wholly uncontactable by phone or email except through which automatically gets forwarded to a guy called Keith Balding []. GlowInternets portal will probably never be updated. There is no email or contact address on the website only a phone/FAX which never gets picked up and can never recieve FAX. The administrator of the company (handling the liquidation) is the well respect Anthony Batty & Co of London which means they must have some money to pay this well sought after guy. In conclusion, I have today posted a letter of termination to both Anthony Batty & Co in London as well as to the Telford address of Glow - if anyone needs this, just reply to this thread. I'll check it reguarly. I have terminated following an upgrade to MADASAFISH(.com) who offered me a free domain name, free static IP, 2MB broadband, free for two months and only £17.99 a month. When I am paying £11.99 for a constantly engadged slow connection to GlowInternet the extra money seems well worth it. Hope this helps! Thanks, noojam55

FOR JONC A2Z View Profile | Add to favourites | Ignore Date posted 2005-02-22 11:38 Subject This CANNOT be legal Recommendations This message has not been recommended Message I hope there is some life left in this bulletein board, and that this will be seen by someone with more legal knowledge then myself. Glow have been put into administration, defaulted on all their creditors - from large companies to their one man band agents. They have left their shareholders with nothing. Meanwhile, Duncan Hickman (M.D.), and Miles Watson (Mobile Director) have started another company called Unofone which has bought the list of Glow customers (for next to nothing I would imagine) and has continued to trade. Other members of staff have also hopped over to the new company. Whilst this is obviously unethical, is it not illegal? Surely the directors should be barred from holding similar positions? I look forward to hearing the opinions of those other people who have been watching this. For your information here is a director's e-mail address: A2Z
JonC, The info I have is that Unofon is at Sir Walter Raleigh House 48-50 Esplanade St Helier, Jersey JE3 3QB Glow Telecom at same address. Tel 0800 652 4894, 8492,5096. as for the Corporate Finance in Nov 2004 Unofon Group Ltd, bought FixTelecom Group Ltd and the Telecom subsidiaries of Belgravia Group Ltd, with Bircham Dyson Bell acting for Belgravia Group Ltd. " Where did you see that re GLWs Directors being involved in Unofon" if i am not wrong have a look on the iii site? thanks for your reply, as always i am not too well informed as readers well know. serina
serina, Where did you see that re GLWs Directors being involved in Unofon. Unofon appears to be registered in the CIs again so cannot search Companoes House for info? JC
JonC, Surely you have a case against then for the transfer of your private information? Do you know anything about or are "Unofon PLC." I did see that some GLW's directors were involved.
What I would like to know is where is the customer base? Belgravia Telecom claim not to have commenced trading and yet I my account has been transferred to an organisation called Unofon PLC. Who sold it and for what.
update RNS today: It was announced on 7 February 2005 that the Company was expected to apply for the cancellation of its AIM admission with effect from 10 March 2005. An application has since been made to Court by certain creditors to stay the appointment of a Liquidator and challenging the rights of certain creditors to vote, who had previously voted for the company to proceed into Liquidation rather than allowing an opportunity for Company Voluntary Arrangement proposals to be made to creditors and shareholders. Pending the outcome of the Court action, the Company has not sought cancellation of its AIM admission and will only seek cancellation if it proceeds into liquidation. In any event, should the Company's securities remain suspended until 28 April 2005, being the date six months after the shares were suspended on 28 October 2004, the Company's AIM admission will automatically terminate. the fat lady hasn't sung yet ...
Mo....10th March what??
