Anyone have an idea how much these contracts are worth in sales or profit?

Very positive announcements today and I believe more good news to come with results and beyond as further developments in retail market kick-in over coming months.

Not too much longer to wait,MM's seem to be confindent, their taking a lot of stock at these levels without any real significent move on the bid.

MM's might try a small tree shake as there are rumours of further large Institutional appetite to buy...appears that some other announcements MAY accompany the results early next month. Patience may soon be rewarded....

This breakoutis, i think, being driven by instutional buying. A large number are not allowed to buy stocks with £50M Mkt Caps. This has now been breached and Corporate News is on the way, but I don't know if it will come before the results, or with the results. It would be better if we didn't get too excited beforehand in case there is a sting in the tail!

Another nice rise this morning - people now realising the potential growth DATA now have. Still need some chip and pin confirmation with results.

Must be something behind this - leak of results? Corporate action? More institutional buying (probable).

Very encouraging timing for this action, given that the results are just a couple of weeks away, and we will get a current trading/prospects update. The institutions clearly like it.

From the FAR4 thread.... melfaraj - 11 Mar'05 - 08:40 - 5041 of 5043 data, very impressive, broken out, to be confirmed by subsequent price action, from previous all time high summit level. relentless rises from previous low started on feb and it did the trick. shows you, even thouth the stock failed to perform to expectation a few months ago it never the less did the trick now. in a way this is to be expected as breaking through an all time high summit is no mean task. it si easy to be wise after the event with the benefit of hind side!! ok, not all your stock are underground, but most may be. you have chosen one of the mnost bullish sector for your pot of gold then!! not a bad thing to do!! still, the major breakthrough has to come through in the guise of pet!! it seems like an inevitability now that even gartmore are piling in to indicate that the stock is not seen as a very risky one. still risky i say! ok, lets have a look. and yes i remember you highlighting it a few months back, the chart looked very bullish but the stock failed to go then!!

I am not saying NLR would buy DATA (my statement was misleading I agree). NLR was recently in the "Mail" as "rose on vague bid rumours". Similarly, DATA has always had "vague bid talk" around it. DATA is safe and not soley driven by gambling cash. DATA is therefore a lot more attractive to people like PayPal etc. Basically an overseas operation who want the UK's leading online cash system. One fear is that NLR will eat into DATA's market. We shall see from the next figures.

I'm not sure (1)why you would want Datacash to be taken out, or (2) if Neteller would see an advantage to doing so. (1) There is so much more to go for in these shares. This company is growing its business at a rate of 4% composite PER MONTH. The share price has only just got back to where it was nine months ago. There is so much to go for in this share price, much more than could be realised from any kind of reasonable bid premium of say 30%. (2)You don't need to keep a cow to own a dairy. What advantage would it be to Neteller to own Datacash when they can currently use anybody's anti-fraud technology for their systems. It's the same argument as I have with people on the Neteller thread, who for some reason keep talking about possible bids from (say) a bank, which would never match the potential of Neteller shares on their own.

About time - really motoring now and new highs reached. Glad I stuck it out. I still wonder whether DATA will be taken out. If you look at the rise of NLR in a similar area I am sure there will be some corportate movement in this area.
