The share price seems to have woken up, even if this thread remains fast asleep. I suppose investors had to realise at some time that a company which is growing at 4% compound PER MONTH had to be a good thing. But why today? As a long-term investor, the lumpiness of markets never ceases to amaze me.

Moving on again - the broker target of £1.16 is the next move.

I have a feeling that takeover talk is beginning to surface. NLR are getting good write ups and there is talk of consolidation in this sector.

DATA has the UK sown up but nothing else so would provide a nice little add-on to any globally ambitious company.

Looks like a seller has been taken out and the MM's appear happy to oblige...evidenced by firm offer price...up 0.5p. This according to my broker is more likely to be a positive sign. DYOR

986,00 in the sell column, against 6,000 buys, and the price is unaffected? Weird.

Anyone got a reasonable explanation.

Could be a large buyer in the wings I suppose. I was expecting a big T trade buy at the close - but nothing so far.

The last time I read a throw away article like the one on DAtacash Daily Mail said BPRG were worth a shout at £1.20 - then crashed to 64p in the next few weeks.

I like Datacash and will be looking to get in today or tomorrow.

On our developers' to do list is rewriting the whole Data section. We will try and fill the data in for the indices for the last few days though.

The URL below does not contain Indices data e.g. UKX, ASX, T1X, ASX.
Neither does it contain Sector Data UB47, UB48, UB49, UB52 etc.



When will ADVFN fix this problem once and for all?

This data has been on these file type for years - check any file from say 2 weeks ago to prove it (This statement to prove to ADVFN that they did once supply it) :-)

On line sales is where its at. Check out the recent rise in IBG, people buying shares in big numbers here. I see no reason why DATA should not continue to improve share price also.

Interesting item on BBC lunchtime news. Pre-Xmas retail sales and footfall in High St down 1% YOY. Spokesman for John Lewis said that High St sales were static, up just 1%, but their on-line business was up 87% year-on-year.

If boring old John lewis are up 87%, then more generally on-line sales this year must be showing extraordinary growth. As the leading cardholder not present payments business, that must be very powerful news for Datacash, whose shares - and threads - seem to have gone to sleep recently.

If you use the interface for the downloads, you can get all the data needed. The Quick links are predefined lists which are created at a specific time in that day. Since there was a problem with our legacy systems on Friday afternoon, this process may not have completed.

If you use the interface, it will generate the data on the fly and will pull the data out correctly.

At the moment, if you are looking for particular close prices, you can obtain them from our quote page and download historic daily information.

Answer: I use all of the FTSE350 OHLCV prices for data mining purposes - I don't intened to download 350 individual historical prices.

Just talks about chip and pin and that soon retailers will be beating a path to DATA's door.

Very few chip and pin plays on the stockmarket.

Confident we will get back over a £1 in the near future.
