Really wouldn't encourage shorting at this moment. Market sentiment is on the up and takeover rumour is strong. This share has been rock solid all through the recent downturn which suggests something's going on. Better stocks out there to short I think.

Mario or Slap (whatever name you call yourself) We have all had to put up with your shorting and de-ramping on the griffin mining site, hope you got burned today LOL. Trying to put people off this share is just plain stupid when institutions are buying heavily knowing that chip and pin will be huge. You will get burned again if you try to short this company. You Have Been Warned!!!

With 0.59 p earnings per share the datacash share price appears to have got a bit ahead of itself due to excessive ramping and silly tips . I think I will open up a huge short tomorrow .
Please feel free to join me and make a proverbial killing on the most over-priced share on the LSE !
If we all short together we can make a huge amount of money .
This share is simply too expensive IMO ! Short it ! Short it!

365 - good call. I closed 2 longs at 101 on the 14th, expecting to go long again on a half-decent pullback !!

This share does not want to drop back at all.

Good job I keep some as a core holding.

Don't think it will disappoint, Totally agree with Igoe, This company has a lot more rising to do yet. I am expecting great things from this company.

Being tipped all over the place - good news in the short term - but can lead to their being a lot of weak holders - and if it disappoints they will all rush for the exit!

i expect this one to start rising again, as we get into july ready for , what looks like a good positive set of results in august.
there does not seem many people looking to take a profit yet, it shows this company has alot more rising to do yet.

Some big trades have gone through today (200,000 etc.). Not shifted the price but I would guess they are buys or more likely some moving around of stock. Usually that sort of volume would have a big effect.

One of the 4 highest volume days in the last 6 months.

Stakebuilding by a company looking to takeover DATA?

Datacash gained 6p to 96p as Numis Securities tipped the stock as a takeover target. "We have voiced our positive view on Datacash a number of times, most recently as a potential acquisition target given the likelihood of consolidation among chip and pin players", Numis said. Datacash will benefit greatly from a change in credit card legislation next year. This has led to the introduction of chip and pin technology by retailers and credit card companies.

The purchase of Bibit, of the Netherlands, by WorldPay raised hopes of further consolidation in the payment processing sector and helped AIM- listed Datacash Group up 6p to 96p, with a raised 116p target from Numis Securities giving further support.
