05/7/2019 13:36 | Mine has now appeared in my account with AJ Bell. | eaaxs06
05/7/2019 12:48 | Nothing yet. I think it was late in the day last time. | davwal
05/7/2019 11:49 | Has anyone had their dividend credited to their accounts today? I thought it was due to be paid today, but nothing has shown up yet? | eaaxs06
05/7/2019 08:35 | That was a ‘lucky’ buy the other day... it’s amazing how lucky some trades are. I mean, it wouldn’t be prior knowledge would it, cos that’s not allowed..! | davwal
05/7/2019 08:32 | Presume they’ll offload some of the commercial ports operations. | davwal
05/7/2019 08:20 | RNS states they have received preliminary offers from several parties ? | zen12
03/7/2019 19:17 | And it goes down today... | orm5
03/7/2019 09:02 | Interesting 179k buy at 358.7 reported late yesterday. I have to assume there will be another matching trade coming later. | cc2014
21/6/2019 08:12 | Interesting. Maybe they concluded their sell order was putting off buyers and working against itself. I just hope GPH's holding company doesn't take it upon itself to drop another batch of discounted shares onto the market, which was mooted last time. That action triggered a significant drop and it would be madness to do it again. My other concern is the holding co taking it private on the cheap. It certainly needs a lift and some positive momentum. | davwal
19/6/2019 09:23 | Something has changed here but I'm not sure what. Yesterday we see it rammed down which is a tactic used often before sustained buying. Up to yesterday someone was trying to sell at 350. L2 showed they had 80k shares left they wanted to shift at 350. I think they started around 100k althogh whether 100k was all they declared to the market is another matter. From about midday yesterday that seller has completely disappeared and now the price continues to inch up. I dunno. Just happy to see it go up. Maybe something to do with interest rates potentially falling in the US helping payments on their debt pile? | cc2014
13/6/2019 15:37 | I assume the Dreamlines convertible bond news means GPH didn't like what they saw once they got involved and would rather have the bond repaid. Or, the benefit of having EUR10m back outweighs the investment case. I'm not sure. I'm happy happier with them sticking to their traditional market. | cc2014
10/6/2019 19:59 | Dunno, but someone wiped out the bid today and it went 100-350 ish at which point stops got triggered. | cc2014
10/6/2019 18:53 | What on earth is going on with this stock? | davwal
29/5/2019 14:48 | Someone selling out at 390p. How many have they got left? Who knows? | cc2014
01/4/2019 09:29 | Good news, but comes with the caveat about future payments. They’ve stretched the dates out too! | davwal
01/4/2019 08:46 | I was a bit worried about the dividend but I see it was approved at 21.2p XD 30/5. Pay date 05/7 | cc2014
29/3/2019 14:11 | Divi announcement after close Friday..? Wouldn’t put it past them. | davwal
12/3/2019 11:23 | Divi looks like it might be chopped or not at all? | geoff21
12/3/2019 09:56 | Results actually look ok. Or at least if you view them on a "is there a decent improvement from last time basis" they look OK. Buyers seem to be coming in after the initial drop | cc2014
20/2/2019 18:46 | i hooked into this one a few weeks back, but had to let it go. It could just not hold the line, kept slipping. i like the company, but this low volume and drip drip could go on for a while yet. will keep watching, maybe have another go at 300 WJ. | w1ndjammer
20/2/2019 13:07 | I'm guessing that the $ per share will be similar but due to exchange rate, £/share will be lower.I think it was 44p full year div last year, so this year maybe 38p with the exchange rate - but still a good yield against the current share price There are not a lot of shares in free float and not much trading. The parent company sold a proportion of their holding late last year and the share price has declined more so since then. The agreements they have are very long term so should generate a stable income | orm5
18/2/2019 15:20 | This has roughly halved since the IPO. I've been watching it for a while and am tempted to start a position. The attractive thing about the cruise-port terminal business, in principle, is that barriers to entry are very high. And the cruise business is still expanding fast and the ships just keep getting bigger. Why is GPH so unloved? Is the falling share price telling us there is likely to be a cut in the dividend? Or is it just an institutional investor selling out of a not very liquid stock and pushing down the price? | galeforce1
01/2/2019 22:51 | One can only hope the A&B deal being finalised triggers further interest in the Caribbean. As a holder from the IPO who has topped up on a few occasions above the current share price I could do with some upward mobility. As divi day approaches the price should liven up, at least for a while. So long as they don’t cut that..! | davwal
01/2/2019 13:16 | So just over 10% yield at this share price based on last years dividend | orm5 |
