11/5/2019 00:05 | Hyper Al, A few questions. 1] What's the mileage lifespan of an electric vehicle's engine? (counting that the typical well maintained diesel will do 120k - 160k miles) 2] What's the carbon footprint of the 250 to 300 tons of concrete it takes to anchor the average wind turbine, and how many years of operation does it take to offset this? 3] How much food production would the world lose if enough land was switched to growing bio-lubricants to fill total global demand? | outsizeclothes.com
10/5/2019 21:28 | 'But I'm sure it wont be long before they won't need oil lubricants.' Thank you, Doctor Pangloss! | joestalin
09/5/2019 16:22 | How do you construct and install wind turbines without oil and diesel ? Wind turbines also hold up to 770 litres of oil to lube the gearboxes and need 150 liters sometimes twice to flush the gearboxes before an oil change Need gas to fuel power stations for the electricity required to power your electric car etc. How much electricity will we need to replace the fuel currently used for travel ? It is impossible to ditch oil & gas unless we go back in time and massively reduce the population | jimarilo
09/5/2019 15:54 | Good points, but how do they lubricate the axles on these 'high speed ELECTRIC railway' trains? | joestalin

07/5/2019 20:32 | Gil interview..... No mention of Seapulse, but did say the data room will open soon, however Seapulse will have all the data they need through Azinam. He also said there are two drill ready blocks GBP and Char got a mention comparing small one well companies to the Majors 11.16 mins in Gil last December | jimarilo
04/5/2019 13:41 | New presentation from AEC yesterday, I noticed the line below is the same as the March presentation Slide 19, "Adjacent block, PEL 30, has potential near term well (Osprey Prospect)" The February presentation didn't mention "near term" Slide 21, "Adjacent block, PEL 30, has firm obligation well (Osprey Prospect)" The presentations all said " Main risk remains hydrocarbon migration distance; success at Osprey de-risks Albatross" and "Waiting for success at nearby Osprey Prospect" It coincides with the very real possibility that Seapulse are going to drill Osprey PEL30. "Waiting for success" seems very optimistic Another pertinent observation is that ECO are not listed as attending the E&P Summit this month in any capacity. This is very unusual. AEC, AOI, Impact and Azinam are all there and presenting as usual. My view is, Eco may think there is no point presenting, if Seapulse will be presenting and covering Osprey Just to keep everyone straight, the above are my observations and not investment advise dyor ;-) | jimarilo
03/5/2019 09:38 | News from Seapulse of three of the 12 upcoming wells I had an email reply yesterday from Azimuth/Seapulse saying they are making good progress with respect to operations in Namibia. The Seapulse website will be up and running in the coming weeks. In time for the Africa E&P Summit, I imagine It very much looks like the wells being drilled are within the group of companies, which I very much expect one of the Namibian wells to be drilled this year will be in the adjoining block to us PEL30 and the Osprey prospect. | jimarilo
02/5/2019 23:03 | Another Global Petroleum appeals victory in Italy, it is a real shame that the Italian Government has stopped all oil exploration activities for 18 months. I understand that in the event of the Government implementing permanent exploration bans, compensation will be paid to oil exploration companies. GBP can now focus on securing farm in deals on its highly prospective Namibian offshore licences. | investoroilandgas
01/5/2019 08:10 | If you update the licence map with the new blocks from TRP, GBP and Exxon, there is probably just one block left which is down in the southern area. The rest are out to sea and in much deeper water A farm out deal is now the only way to access the Walvis Basin. TRP are not looking to farm out their blocks for sometime, as Cameroon is their focus currently, but do expect to get interest | jimarilo
30/4/2019 13:25 | AMERICAN-HEADQUARTER Certainly the appetite for Namibian assets on the up | jimarilo
30/4/2019 10:40 | another scintillating update | hugepants
30/4/2019 10:22 | Seems like they may have a cunning plan - yes - we know! | joestalin
30/4/2019 02:00 | Quarterlies out and the usual regarding the assets, but no additional snippets regarding a farm out deal or the up coming Africa E&P Summit or up coming wells. No mention that we are in need of cash and no mention of Stellar and no mention of Paul Howlett's second presentation this Quarter They are not exactly coming across as a company that is desperate or worried. Seems like they may have a cunning plan after all imo Time will tell | jimarilo
29/4/2019 12:51 | Azinam presentation from the last weeks Namibian conference | jimarilo
28/4/2019 09:36 | Exxon have certainly got into their stride, which will have increased the will of others to make their moves ahead of the upcoming wells imo | jimarilo
27/4/2019 08:00 | Quick of the mark TRP have shown here the blocks Exxon have in Namibia and Angola This link shows the Delta prospect now in GBP's PEL94 Results from Cormorant suggest the oil has migrated towards PEL94/30. This presentation was written in 2013 and suggest the same, looking at page 13 | jimarilo
26/4/2019 08:39 | We are due to tick up imo Currently can sell 600K @ 1.625p | jimarilo |
