12/10/2018 18:23 | Shelf Drilling wins more drilling work offshore Italy (2018-10-05) ENI are just 35km from our awaiting blocks | jimarilo
12/10/2018 18:10 | I don't think the Adriatic prospects are being ignored. The company can't lay claim to them until the licences are confirmed and there will be no activity until then But as you say, hopefully news in the not to distant and maybe an update on the farm out process, now the two awaited wells have been drilled | jimarilo
12/10/2018 13:28 | Although news is due soon on the Adriatic licences, the company's website completely ignores this area of activity! | squibno1
12/10/2018 01:03 | We have oil seeps in Namibia and the Adriatic | jimarilo
11/10/2018 16:09 | Looks like some substantial buys to me Edit: 16.24pm Can still sell 600k online so someone is in the market for GBP shares | jimarilo
11/10/2018 15:54 | sp down 17% today nobody wants them? | joestalin
11/10/2018 13:05 | Significant, that you can sell 600k online currently Never seen that here, all year | jimarilo
11/10/2018 12:43 | Strange, Peel Hunt now hold 20% of TRP. TRP application in for new licences in Namibia, including PEL10 adjacent to our blocks Peter Taylor now has 6% | jimarilo
11/10/2018 12:35 | and from Anizam The anticipated stacked target reservoirs were penetrated and the well encountered wet gas shows, indicating the presence of hydrocarbons in the system The oil seeps is where it's at, PEL29 & block 2011A ;-) | jimarilo
11/10/2018 10:26 | Its you're actually but yes you're probably right. I will retire into the shadows again and apologies for intrusion. | dunderheed
11/10/2018 10:24 | Think your on the wrong bb Dunderheed 11 Oct '18 - 10:15 - 6666 of 6667 (Filtered) | jimarilo
11/10/2018 10:15 | Reserved for monte1, pram and Saul Goodman. | dunderheed
11/10/2018 10:15 | I dunno but one thing that's important is... | dunderheed
11/10/2018 10:07 | MM's looking for stock, can sell 250k online | jimarilo
11/10/2018 09:25 | Agreed, GBP tick two of those boxes Lets see if this result induces corporate activity | jimarilo
11/10/2018 09:18 | The minnows are floundering (that includes Tullow). The main interest will probably be the deeper parts of the Walvis Basin and the deep water outboard areas of the Orange Basin for the time being. | xxnjr1
11/10/2018 09:07 | OOOPPPS are we going to get another 'encouraging*' statement? * meaningless. | dunderheed
11/10/2018 08:19 | Agreed, I think Eco will be thinking their Cooper block PEL30 is looking more promising than their other blocks from the Cormorant result This result could be narrowing things down in our favour, regarding a deal Time will tell | jimarilo
11/10/2018 07:55 | Cormorant at least gives good reason for hope in the general area around it. Not sure I'd say that about Prospect S.If there is general interest in Namibia offshore, the industry needs to revise its models......and probably focus in the Walvis Basin rather than elsewhere.... | emptyend
11/10/2018 07:43 | The company said, "It is believed that potential farminees have decided to await the results of the drilling being carried out in Q3 and Q4 2018 by operators nearby" With drilling being so quick and day rates at a discount, and Cormorant result seems to have significant data regarding our blocks. Is it time to focus on a deal ? | jimarilo
11/10/2018 07:12 | Char result out, looks like the Cormorant well was a very good result compared to prospect S Does that mean the oil is in the north of the Walvis basin ? Another super quick well | jimarilo
10/10/2018 09:49 | Here is a link to the confirmed wells offshore Namibia, which includes Total | jimarilo
10/10/2018 08:44 | Thanks Jimarilo - it's a long way to the south then, although I agree a Shell success would be good for sentiment. Just posted this on TLW board for your ref, following a Kosmos Suriname duster announced this morning. "Cormorant drilled through 3307m of rock in 20 days (165.4m/day) [Exceptional] Pontoenoe drilled through 3697m of rock in 56 days (66.0m/day) [Kind of average for 1st frontier well] If anyone can find oil in the Walvis Basin, Namibia then apparent ease of drilling would seem to enhance the economics, as has already been noted by a noted Namibia aficionado on the GBP thread!" | xxnjr1
10/10/2018 07:52 | I notice this morning the West Eclipse has a tanker pulled up, must be taking fuel on-board Also noticed the Bourbon Diamond has recently entered the quay side at Walvis Bay, joining the Bourbon Explorer, which has been in the bay since the West eclipse Might be Shell time ? | jimarilo
10/10/2018 01:12 | We already have evidence of a working petroleum system on our doorstep from the Cormorant result Any commercial discovery in Namibia will confirm what the industry have been working on for years, which will only increase the activity across the region Shell hold a 90% interest in PEL39 in the southern area (Orange Basin) Still only been around 16 wells drilled to date, Exxon still to play their hand, who seem to be in the same fairway as GBP I remember you quoting In fact trading at near cash is our downside protection | jimarilo |
