Buy at 0.6 SELL AT 0.5 so not as bad as it looks. This is just a MM holding pattern to keep things under control. Could break out sharply with volume as with so many other stocks.

Is the spread still horrendous? I was into a 50% loss immediately which isnt great (buying price to sale price)

Okay one prior to a huge rise AGU waiting for funding news a risky punt but huge rewards. DYOR IMHO
Up 25% in the last 30 minutes only.

It is doubtful if anthing will be said in the next few weeks or so to effect the share so i expect, like everyone else, that the spread will not change in any meaningful way.

Just have to wait .

Dead right spread reflects a somewhat sleeping share . MM always have a large spread in these situations . Thats why the spread in Vodaphone is less than 1p as they trade in large blocks.

Not sure that after 100% more to come. Spread here will diminish once buying starts.

I suggest AFE worth a look also gents even with 100% gain more to come IMHO DYOR etc.
The spread on GLN is still ridiculous for anyone looking to Buy and until it changes I can't see much happening here.

pelleeds1980 - welcome to the club (many of us with burnt fingers in NNG).

Talking of £500 punts, I got into CWO at 4.75 (10000 shares), know not a thing about them but nice to see a profit. Sometimes the punts are a nice suprise.

Ps I like the results GLN released - wiped out debt and nice fat margins...seem to be ontop of things. Happy to tuck away. You expecting any news to come out the results didnt seem to shift the price, so what do you think might do?

When you look at NNG and the death of a popular share like that then you look at GLN which actually has a cash flow and reducing debt and money in the bank -one is at a total loss to understand why money follows these stocks and i would add seo ( Stanelco or some spelling like that to this list ). At least GLN is a punt with at least a sporting chance . They are so cheap and the up-side is quite good - this punt has a value in its own right . If it goes down then at least it went with a fight . As you can see i like this stock but only within the context of a punt . The money one should throw at this should be within reason . Modest but worth a gamble on cost / return ratio . I have 10,000,000 with an average of 0.064 and 5,000,000 held in my 2 childrens names with an average of 0.060. March/April interims which will be posted in all probability in May will hopefully give us some understanding on its trading status durin the 6 months or sso of the economic down-turn. If its holding its own then we should get a reasonable response .
