08/3/2020 18:08 | "Dr Biotech8 Mar '20 - 16:24 - 20858 of 20859 Filter him rikky, his posts are just boring bluster" They're actually very factual..but you be complacent. I've Ricky filtered so no idea what the pathetic nonce wrote. | crossing_the_rubicon
08/3/2020 16:35 | DrB - interesting. I wonder what they will do about Verona in the short term? | alphorn
08/3/2020 16:24 | Filter him rikky, his posts are just boring bluster. I’m now having to declare if I’ve been to China/Italy/S.korea before I visit some clients (GSK didn’t ask). Not immediately obvious what would happen if I have but I guess I’d be asked to reschedule. Problem is most labs have a lot of foreign nationals either working there or visiting. Going to be a lot of disruption over the next few months..how many people/companies will survive financially? I seem to recall that quite a few wouldn’t last 2 months. | dr biotech
08/3/2020 14:02 | @TM Wouldnt touch Woodford with a bargepole. More Minerve's game. | crossing_the_rubicon
08/3/2020 13:59 | Talking of scum ….. Neil Woodford, the former star fund manager whose empire imploded spectacularly last year, is canvassing interest from British investors about a potential bid to snap up some of his old investments. Sky News has learnt that Mr Woodford and a number of colleagues from Woodford Investment Management (WIM) have held talks with institutional and wealth managers in recent weeks about assembling a new venture for sophisticated investors. The principal idea pitched to prospective investors was the creation of a vehicle to buy back some of the unquoted WIM stakes in companies such as BenevolentAI, a drug discovery start-up, proton beam therapy specialist Rutherford Health and Immunocore, a biotech company which aims to treat serious diseases. | tradermichael
08/3/2020 13:57 | This particular BB is infested with whining Remoaner scum... | crossing_the_rubicon

08/3/2020 10:01 | Arja still peddling bollux I see. Project Fear pushed by the LEFTfar worse than anything these alleged billionaires pushed in their Right Wing tabloids(Most of whom are independently run by the editors you'll find. Billionaires tend to let them get on with it as they;re too busy making money to worry about the minutae of what stories their editor is pushing! Glad to see you're still a whining little Remoaner who cant accept democracy. | crossing_the_rubicon
07/3/2020 20:30 | yes , billionaire owners of the right wing tabloids indoctrinated the working class folk in north and midlands into voting for Brexit. They will make a mint from it while many of the working class will lose their job - turkeys voting for xmas ! | arja
07/3/2020 20:26 | work it out folks | arja
07/3/2020 20:26 | how true and the clown said he AGONISED over the decision which is INCONSISTENT with becoming a fanatical brexiter . How does someone so uncertain as to which way to go become a big brexiteer if that person has a modicum of sincerity ?? In same way Theresa May was a PRETEND remainer before referendum result and so many stupid commentators kept saying she was a remainer . Her reason for livin was to END free movement and remaining in the EU would not have achieved that ! w | arja
07/3/2020 18:35 | It isn't about winning or losing, for me anyway, it's more about what you believe is best for the country long term. Increasing the economic and cultural barriers to your nearest neighbours and biggest trading partner doesn't seem to be a step forward by any demonstrable measure. And yes, Bozo was known to be a remainer by those closest to him but chose the Brexiteer route purely as a career move. Like Trump, I think all but the 1% are going to be very disappointed in bim | rikky72
07/3/2020 15:40 | They knew what they were doing with regards to GxP - as they should. But of the four I met only one was a scientist. | dr biotech
07/3/2020 15:15 | They should know what is going on! Hopefully they are spoilt for potential drug candidates. ;) | alphorn
07/3/2020 15:07 | Ware? Stevenage 😀 | dr biotech
07/3/2020 12:23 | I personally have great faith in GSK, I visited GSK very near to London and it was a fantastic company from a contractor point of view. | turvart
07/3/2020 12:13 | @Rikky72 You are bang on correct, zero benefit from Brexit, in fact the people who thought they would benefit (the poorest and generally less educated ) are likely to be those hardest hit. They have had over three years of the brexit fiasco draining confidence from assets ( uk has been uninvestable for foreigners) political chaos and a trashed currency, all to leave the largest trading block in the world, which we helped build over 40 years, insanity. Self harmers and fools allowed to make the rest of us poorer too, all thanks to that drip Cameron, and you dont really believe for a minute Bunter Johnson was ever actually a true believer in brexit do you? | porsche1945
06/3/2020 18:12 | DrB - at Ware secondary? | alphorn
06/3/2020 15:38 | I think it is caught up in a general sell-off. I believe it will recover but with values under pressure it's hard to say tbh | niggle
06/3/2020 15:08 | What exactly are the downsides for GSK from COVID-19 ? Will governments cut their drug budgets suddenly ? Will there be any reduced demand for GSK drugs from patients ? Will consumers be spending less on consumer health products ? None of these seem particularly likely to me . While there might be some short term problems with supply chains , medicines will surely be prioritised by governments all over the world . It's hard to see how GSK has suffered a 14% fall in the value of its future earnings stream . Add this to a rapidly falling risk free rate and stable earnings from big pharma should be valued even more highly . A US 10 year treasury at 0.9% makes a 7% earnings yield that is likely to rise over time from GSK look very attractive | nchanning |
