15/10/2019 15:49 | However, this is looking grim …… ;0( | tradermichael
15/10/2019 14:37 | Results are due in two weeks time so where is the share price leading to,GSK being the top faller today,Pfizer is not helping either . | abdullla
15/10/2019 11:49 | I see Woodford Patient Capital is to be liquidated starting in January. But neither GSK nor AZN is in the top ten of its holdings so probably nothing to worry about for most. | grahamite2

11/10/2019 14:44 | Funny old day:-) sold some blnd & bt bought some bp & gsk | sicker
11/10/2019 13:16 | Yes, all down to exchange rates today across the board. | philanderer
11/10/2019 11:43 | What's POO doing today? That might explain why Shell/BP havent moved downwards in similar fashion.. Poo >Sterling/USD$ move. | crossing_the_rubicon
11/10/2019 11:36 | Rubicon could be either of the reasons you suggest, although sales of Zantac ONLY represent a tiny proportion of overall GSK global sales. If it's the GB Pound v US Dollar swing I would have expected to see a fall in other major dollar earners, like BP and Royal Dutch Shell. GSK @ 16.50 must surely give a div yield of nearly 5% ?? | ukneonboy
11/10/2019 11:02 | I expect the buyers to reappear at 1650p | tradermichael
11/10/2019 10:59 | GSK look cheap me - whatever has caused the fall today | ukneonboy
11/10/2019 10:22 | Yes it looks that way | abdullla
11/10/2019 10:16 | GBP up, foreign earners down. Punctuation gremlin on ADFN. | poikka
11/10/2019 10:13 | GSK down 2.8%, AZN down 2.6%. Isn't it the jump in sterling, from $1.22 to $1.25, caused by Johnson/Varadker 'progress'? | zho
11/10/2019 10:13 | Back to mid 15s in short order. The drop today is because of strengthening sterling and defensives being sold off on the back of a possible brexit deal and the end to this total sxxtshow. | porsche1945
11/10/2019 10:13 | All the pharmas are down not just GSK | abdullla
11/10/2019 10:12 | Abdul: Thanks - I think the fall has been too quick, it has prompted me to buy back in. | tradermichael
11/10/2019 10:12 | Also demonstrated in many, many clinical studies!!! Re #102. Posts seem to have been renumbered! | alphorn
11/10/2019 10:11 | Alphorn: I think its an overreaction. The change of manufacturing route gave rise to a trace impurity which is a known carcinogen. But there's unlikely to be a risk to patients in the short-term. The active ingredient in Zantac (ranitidine) is safe as demonstrated in pre-clinical studies. | tradermichael |
