Another thing: those who voted leave had every bit as much, or every bit as little, understanding as those who voted remain.

Naturally, if you think I am wrong, I'd be happy to hear your evidence for such an assertion.

Until Cameron, Tory leaders feared or were cautious about being replaced.
Until Cameron, MP's behaved 'corporately', in accordance with their election promises (largely) as if their party failed it's majority they may lose in a snap General Election.

Cameron took away the things that helped make our democracy 'honest'.

after what has happened since we have been in the eu with the headlong rush into a european empire which is what is happening now with no discussion with eu countries

I write as I do steeplejack as its my mo,i suggest to you all who cannot look beyond your bank account to your grand childens future as they are the ones who will be suffering the over bearing left wing government of the eu and as we as a country have been out voted for so many years trying to turn this leviathan around,the future is not going to be one of peace and wealth..

just look at what the u has done to so many of the countries in the eu already with massive debts and huge unemployment.

This'll save us:

Britain has signed a post-Brexit trade deal with the Pacific islands of Fiji and Papua New Guinea, as the government rushes to sign as many agreements as possible before 29 March.
The Department for International Trade said the agreement would maintain access to goods including sugar and fish imported from the islands 10,000 miles away. Total trade between Britain and the region is worth about £369m a year.

umm.....point taken thamestrader.......as they say,the biggest room in the world is the room for improvement.

Incidentally,rule of thumb suggests that if sterling goes better that the overseas earners will falter.I'm not totally convinced.A counter balance could be that overseas funds would be prepared to buy sterling assets if the Brexit mess is concluded.Overseas funds are reluctant to buy into assets if the local currency is weak.Of course,they can buy ADRs but a stable,solid local currency always helps the cause.

Quite right Dr Biotech,many are in your camp.Trouble is,the EEC morphed into the politically conceived
EU,back in the early 90s.The battle was conceded with the Treaty of Lisbon.

Brexiteers do seem such an unhappy bunch.Scribbling their diatribes at such speed that spelling and punctuation are all but forgotten.They're very angry.Thereagain, the majority are old and will be dead soon.Who knows,the young might reapply for EU membership sometime in the future.

Brexiteers arguments

We want free trade.
The EUs free trade deal with japan shafted us
We want WTO (tarriffs)

WTO won’t hurt us
We have to keep WTO on the table as it’s a way to hurt trade

(Many individuals have said) We will never buy from the EU again
Leaving the EU won’t hurt us

Devaluing the pound will help us (except it’s already been devalued, and hasn’t)

Politically I was a leaver, economically I am a remainer. There are plenty like me.

Eh no it doesnt. Go read the Withdrawal Agreement. It puts us in Customs Union!

The subsequent Political Declaration builds on the base of WA - ie Our future trade relationship will be ona Customs Union basis.

So May's deal doesnt provide taking back control of laws,borders,trade as we are still in Customs Union and ECJ dictates much of our laws.

Acutally they're interested in upholding democracy and rule of law for they realise what will happen if Democracy is overturned thus negating the point of voting ever again, leading to a rise in extremism, and end to the social contract(as we see in London now) and serious disorder.

if we had m,ade plans to leave 3 years ago we would be in a much different position,plus have you read the Lisbon treaty which if we stay in, comes into force soon where we hand over the total control of our country to Brussels and the majority vote in the eu parliament,including the part they don't control at the moment.

My hunch is that the ERG (that collection of self inflated bumptious proclaimed elite) will vote for May's plan on the third or perhaps fourth time of asking.Despite having castigated the deal,they won't wish to lose the initiative to deliver Brexit.That's fair enough.leave means leave even though I didn't vote for it.The idea that we should leave without a deal,wouldn't be a consequence of EU intransigence so much as a consequence of UK incompetence since the early days when the likes of Liam Fox crowed how the EU discussions would be easiest in history.This naive attitude exacerbated by May refusing to consult and create a meaningful platform for cross party talks has led us to an impasse that makes us look adolescent in world eyes.

GlaxoSmithKline just won a design Patent for a High End Fitness Band-Like Medical Device.
With Companies like Apple slowly turning Apple Watch into a medical device, GSK has decided that they should dabble in the devices market as well.

GSK announced a partnership with NEUROMetrix last January to make a patient device that would involve Quell pain relief technology. Quell is drug-free and has been cleared by the FDA for treatment of chronic pain without a prescription.
Whether this latest device design is a next-gen Quell related consumer / patient device or for yet another medical condition is unknown at this time.
