The service sector and financial services will be corroded. This is great news.

Banks and high earners will relocate to Europe and house prices in London will fall quite heavily. Great news this as my children want to buy in next five years.

Bad news I suppose might be the loss of tax revenue from the City. Who cares? That money is being used for welfare.

I want a no deal Brexit. STG will fall heavily and export/dollar earning companies will rise."

10-15% right, or more??
Dollar earning companies, eg fts100 will rise.
So yes, pay to be positioned.

"Ok...the economy will falter and we will have a very deep protracted recession and fall in investment but house prices will fall which is good for our children"

If sterling falls 15-20% why will economy falter or enter recession???
Exports will boom, as will inward investment/asset purchases as prices for such will be significantly lower.

If tariffs are cut, as has been indicated, and imports continue apace no reason t expect recession, or much change.

"What is not to like?"

UK has been through far worse. Short term hiccups but long term much to be positive about.

EU will collapse soon under the weight of its many contradictions anyway. Better to be out and not on the hook for the bailout costs imo

Barnier spot on with the above quote.

If we cant agree after 2.5 years what the point extending for another 1-2 months, 12 months, or longer. Still be the same problem

WE voted LEAVE.
We expect LEAVE to be delivered.
If it isnt demcoracy will breakdown, and rightly so.

I dont recall voting for LEAVE with a deal..

The vote isnt binding either way so semantics not a concern in the big scheme of things

MPs that take "No deal" off the table are, however, signalling to the end, they dont want to respect the vote of the British people..

And that wont stand them in good stead I'd wager.

I think the wording on tonight's ballot slip is confusing, and will lead to a false result in rejecting a No Deal.

They will vote on a motion stating:

Current: "this House declines to approve leaving the European Union without a Withdrawal Agreement and a framework on the future relationship on March 29".

Clearer wording: "this House approves of leaving the European Union without a Withdrawal Agreement and a framework on the future relationship on March 29".

Indeed , majority of voters wanted 'leave' ... majority of MP's want 'remain'

"I do not believe that any other country in the world would allow itself to be dominated and humiliated in this way."

It is because we are led by quislings who voted Remain, want us to Remain in EU, and will do everything to subvert demcoracy to achieve such.

So i am not surprised at their antics over the last 34 months since they lost.

Karma is coming. Events draw swiftly to a close.

If we dont LEAVE, we get Paris style civil disorder and worse I expect.

Sad that people are willing to jeopardise democracy just to get their way.

I do not believe that any other country in the world would allow itself to be dominated and humiliated in this way. Many would just withdraw and ignore the 'legal' consequences.

Its bizarre that the farce of the 'Good Friday' agreement continues to spook proceedings, especially when a group calling itself the IRA have just owned up to the letter 'bombs' that recently appeared in the UK. Does the IRA want to see the reintroduction of a border, then?

I have heard several very influential folk, with lots of inside knowledge, speaking strongly against the points that Abdulla makes. They also do not believe that the E.U. is a stable organisation and that 2019/20 will demonstrate the issues whether we are in it or out!
