Taylor Wimpey.

I cleaned up on it when its price collapsed for no reason after the referendum result. A similar gain was available for those who bought in December.

Good luck nimbo1. It took me 4 years to get out of this unscathed and I'm not getting back in except at a price I can be fairly sure I'll not be looking at a red number for another 4 years.

The next 4 weeks will no doubt be pretty choppy and should give some decent entry points. That said I missed the bus totally on TW. so what do I know.

Im buying more - this seems far more resilient than one might have expected given forex headwinds - the beginnings of a shift in sentiment towards Gsk i hope.

I like 1465 Monty. There is an implicit suggestion that your number is more scientific than 1450.

Let's be honest here. Both numbers have been plucked out of our backsides.

If dollar strengthens, GSK falls and this fall is exacerbated by the poor dividend cover.

Pound will get stronger 70% of FTSE 100 dollar earners.

@Zico,

GSK back at 1450p would be very interesting once again.

Mentioned a few times I thought there was significant upside to GBP
against USD/EURO as leaving Without a deal was unlikely.
That now looks underway.

Would not surprise me to see GBP/EURO at 1.25 plus, and would not
rule at comfortably over 1.30 in time. 1.37/8 area on cable.

Could be heading to test 1480p, although a strengthening £ could see the share price heading lower, to test the next support area 1430p

Disagree. GSK is a short term currency play. Mathematics.

(Of course there are business factors too).

Rock star - whether "you" believe in Brexit is irrelevant. It's the old saying, it's not what you think, it's what you think other people think.

"U.S. healthcare stocks may face some turbulence today as leaders from the largest pharmaceutical companies get grilled on Capitol Hill over the high cost of prescription drugs"

The congressional hearing, called "Drug Pricing in America: A Prescription for Change, Part II," is reminiscent of previous encounters with businesses that proved to be turning points, leading to massive reforms on Wall Street, the health insurance industry and tobacco companies.

Dollars earners are about 70% of the FTSE 100 on some kind of Brexit deal, markets falls 10% on no deal market up 10%. I say down on a deal.

No Brexit GSK up on weak sterling, if a deal, strong sterling I see GSK 1476p my view. Dollar earners would be hit.

GSK is a currency play. If you don’t believe in a hard brexit then it will go down.
