27/6/2018 08:55 | According to a report in The Economic Times, Coca Cola has mandated Citi to help them in the competitive bidding process expected to be launched next week to buy the manufacturer of famous brand Horlicks. Nestle, Danone and HUL among other firms are also eyeing GlaxoSmithKline's consumer nutrition business. Consumer healthcare products of GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare include Horlicks, Boost, and Maltova among others. | tradermichael

25/6/2018 15:46 | You can't look at GSK in isolation of events, look at the FTSE today, GSK following the herd for now. But the fact is pharma is heavily isolated from trade war shenanigans and will recover much faster than the more cycle dependant stocks. Look for any opportunity to add if things turn really sour. | romeike

22/6/2018 11:17 | This is a pretty '1.01 article' but I did find the 5-year look-back over some core lines in the accounts created a pretty concise picture. FWIW The article concludes: 'Overall, I score GlaxoSmithKline 10 out of 15, which makes me a little cautious about the sustainability of the firm’s dividend, particularly with the ongoing drag from generic competition. The static dividend demonstrates how tough things have been for the firm and I’m not expecting the dividend to rise much over the next year or two. That said, I think GlaxoSmithKline could be a decent stock to hold for very patient investors because of the defensive characteristics of the sector.' 22/6/2018 11:13 | My view is don't jump! The price is bound to ease back momentarily before resuming this recovery. The extra contribution from the Novartis deal is starting to kick in, there's continued good new product news and some of the competition worries have eased, prolonging revenue from older products. | tradermichael

22/6/2018 09:14 | Oooh, have I done something right, offloading some at 1580+? Some fairly clear support at this level, straight line across etc. Have reinvested the sale proceeds in SAGA, so won't be adding them back here yet, but still have plenty. Just come up a long way from 1250 odd, needed some sort of pullback. free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | imastu pidgitaswell
