TM...agree but looking promising. WS adr's after hours were approx. 14.17 equiv.tonight. Still need to be guarded but Citi coverage is a reasonable starter for a more balanced view. The shingles drug doing very well in China plus a few other recent drug releases, and all key Pharmas are critical more than ever to keep us in as good shape as possible health wise. Have recently had a few negative side effects on a problem currently causing some severe discomfort but remain positive despite some expected risks to treatment. Hope the next few days/months secure some more hopeful developments on the energy/economic global scene but there appears to be a more collective effort to get to grips with the near term overriding problem mainly caused by Russia. It may take some times but the direction and pace will quicken and surprise those pushing their luck and deservedly so ...alternatives to fossil fuels and their current concentrations will abate and prices fall accordingly. Keep the faith.....

Interestingly none of the recent court news or drug news is making GSK rise in the USA today (so far).
Is that to be expected or are you somewhat surprised?

A recent ruling by a US judge overseeing the lawsuits could mean 70,000 plaintiffs could be forced to abandon their claims due to the statute of limitations, which sets a time limit in which someone is allowed to bring legal action.

If that happens, shares in GSK and French rival Sanofi, which also sold Zantac, could surge by over 40 per cent.

Not just GSK but all UK companies will face a huge rise in energy and labor costs next year. Isn't it going to make it very difficult to achieve the year on year increases that the analysts measure success by? Just a thought. Is this how you define a recession?

flat finish into weekend. in limbo at the moment waiting for direction. Looks to me like further downside unless the cavalry decide to turn up. Writing is on the wall for further drops is my view and that wouldn't be such a bad thing for me so i can top up and build my position as a long term investment with healthy divi
