14/2/2008 16:56 | Added today, some very large trades going through, looks interesting. | matt123d
14/2/2008 15:52 | WINS raises its bid once more. | ed 123
14/2/2008 14:26 | Some biggish trades (for this stock) have been printed. Price has ticked up again. Looking good. :-) | ed 123
14/2/2008 10:30 | As you say, a delayed report would have been possible. However, the trade time printed at 8:56 (ie. no delay). That's not to say that a 'mistake' wasn't made in the reporting. The on-line buy limit is currently only 150 shares; can sell 1500. | ed 123
14/2/2008 10:06 | The 5000 trade could be a delayed buy as it's over 6 X NMS in size, so reporting would be delayed by an hour. If that is the case then it would have taken place at about the time the market opened, which would explain the early rise in price. | ashleighp
14/2/2008 09:54 | sp has been climbing over the last month or so; looks like it's bottomed now and heading back towards the 350-400 range again. Were a bid to come then who knows? | mangal
14/2/2008 09:39 | It's been touted as bid target for some time. Perhaps one day .... Meanwhile, the climb continues. WINS want more stock; moved their bid price up again this morning. Someone's 5,000 sell was taken at the bid and the quote has held. There must be a buyer out there. Nice to see something going up in this market. | ed 123
05/1/2008 14:03 | perhaps grafton travis or one of the other big boys could bolt on gibbs;it has sunk too far... | mw8156
05/12/2007 18:32 | I wonder why it just dipped under the £3 mark. | wad collector
14/11/2007 19:06 | Well it did get over the £4 mark for a while! Broker forecasts still pretty reasonable. I'm happy to hold and pick up the dividend. | ashleighp
14/11/2007 18:19 | About that optimism.... | wad collector
22/8/2007 09:06 | A very good set of results compared the slower growth over the last two to three years and a reasonably optimistic outlook - bearing in mind they never get too enthusiastic in their outlook statements. The increased dividend is welcome too. We could well get back over the £4 mark now. Also never seen any takeover rumours, except on this board so would not say that's on the cards. | ashleighp
22/8/2007 08:56 | Another good set of results has pointed the price back up again after recent decline. Not sure about takeover rumours but worth holding for capital growth long term probably. | wad collector
11/3/2007 14:35 | Rather uninspiring results but gibbs must be a takeover target so the price may not drop too much imo... | mw8156
22/2/2007 20:04 | Todays trades are the grand total of a massive 1 share ! | wad collector
31/1/2007 14:34 | I remember reading somewhere (rumour! rumour!) that this is a likely take over target! | mangal
31/1/2007 14:11 | 2 Year high coming up , but no News.Any clues? | wad collector
06/11/2006 21:14 | Yup, kicking myself for not buying in today, but was fully invested elsewhere. | wiganer
06/11/2006 20:44 | Todays jump may just be last weeks tip and a rising market but looks encouraging. | wad collector
04/11/2006 21:51 | Yes not a tip -he's mentioned it several times over he last 18 months believing it will be taken over and valuing its yield. He may be right. | davidbh
04/11/2006 20:59 | It wasn't a tip, by the way, just a passing mention in a long list of mentions of his holdings. I doubt that it will move the price for long, especially as it's already on a PE of 12-13. | westcountryboy
04/11/2006 09:55 | Hi Wiganer Why not add this thread to your favourites(beside thread header) and that way you won't miss any pearls :-) | cwa1
03/11/2006 19:26 | That's spooky- I look at the thread for the first time in months and there's been a post today for the first time in months! Am tempted to have a nibble again next week- sideways chart should end one way or the other soon- FT tip might just provide the oomph for it be on the upside. | wiganer
03/11/2006 13:21 | To be tipped by John Lee of The FT tomorrow so that shouldn't do any harm to the share price with any luck :-) | cwa1
26/9/2006 16:57 | And it looks like there is someone showing interest!!!!!!! | verynervy |
