Nice rise, can easily see 550p in medium term, great company, had a look at their website, should be on a higher rating.

Yeah looks as if every one's jumping on the band wagon now. Short sharp rises indicate to me that all part timers are getting now......

Gets a little mention in the Sunday Times money section. GDYO looks cheap compared to Travis and Wolseley.

Yup, thats an unusual cluster and in the midst an MM to MM deal, which could mean that there's not much about.

Getting a feeling that there maybe some news about?

if you look at my past comments you will see I have loved this SHARE FROM AN EARLY AGE

Does not seem long ago when I added at 315pence and was miffed that institutions bought at 300p!

Another similar share is NWF which I seemed to have owned since I was knee high to a grasshopper, except it is now overvalued at the present time!

Do love it when it goes up like this!

Will be having a wee tipple tonight -probably open a good bottle of single malt!!

Don't go there space, could seriously damage your wealth, do your own sums, if you have got it right the mms will come to you eventually:-)

Reckon today is an all time closing high, whilst I am not a techie, I believe that to be a bullish sign, wonder if the "round" number effect will come into play or do we steadily cruise past 400p?

Delighted to see the onward rise, although somewhat mystified why given the diminutive trading figures. I'm sure GDYO are a great company and will be a long, long hold for me; however, I'd like to better understand the machinations of the black hole known as the mind of an MM.

This is a company that always keeps the lid firmly closed on news, unless an intended release.

Change of structure last year was a step towards encouraging institutional investing and releasing value and made it more attractive to possible suitors.

I expect it to gain either on news, of good results (as usual) or ....???

This is not ramping its past results and history are there for all to see!!!

I have bought 3 times recently and am considering 4th!!

Looking at the trades, it seems he bought on 6th Jan at 9.24am.

It also seems very bullish that he waited until after the year-end, to get the best possible feel for the outcome, and bought during the very few days available before the company goes into its close period. Then he splashed out. Can't be other than very positive.

Its probably even more positive, bearing in mind that he already owned over 610,000 shares before this latest buy! After all, it wasn't as if he wasn't already heavily exposed to the now obviously coming upswing in the share price!

"Finance Director, Howard Jones, bought 2,700 shares in the company, or 0.03 pct of the issued equity at 385.5 pence per share. The purchase brings Jones' holding to 458,448 shares or 4.53 pct of the company's issued equity."

Well if he doesn't know when to buy, what chance do we have?

Interesting little hike, 2 buys early doors, then price moves in the afternoon?
Could be something on the way or somebody is getting bored and pushing buttons? Bit like me I suppose.
