15/3/2012 23:55 | FX rates inc commission are 1.464 at this time. I pay in sterling not in Aussie $. These arbitrage opps don't come around very often. Each AZX share purchased is at a 25-30% discount to BGL as of now ? Each to their own as they say. Smarty | xclusive2
15/3/2012 23:41 | xclusive2 how much it cost in £ .got no fx rates. Tks.28000AUS $ = £ ? | jaws6
15/3/2012 23:39 | AZX up 5.7% in early trading, a positive start. Bed for me too, but not with Smarty! | temujiin
15/3/2012 23:37 | Another 100 AZX for moi, rude not to ! Orf to bed. Smarty | xclusive2
15/3/2012 23:17 | Thanks for clarification guys. Not long to see what AZX do. | temujiin
15/3/2012 22:55 | 264091, Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Smarty | xclusive2
15/3/2012 22:54 | Sbh! Baker Steel were kingmaker, that king is now dead. It is but a formality, onwards and upwards. Smarty | xclusive2
15/3/2012 22:48 | True, 264. But I thought the same of the takeover - as we can all see now, AZX shareholders were wrong not to accept... | sbh071
15/3/2012 22:10 | There's no question of AZX holders not approving the merger. Last night you could buy 1 BGL (whatever) for less than 19p on ASX, and straight into an ISA right now if you like. Why pay 26p on AIM? Baker Steel or Black Rock might waken up to that opportunity pretty soon too, I guess. I can see why they suspended GGB so quickly now, as that would have been far too easy a switch. | 264091
15/3/2012 22:03 | Tem - I think he means AZX shooting holes out their feet for what seems illogical reasons... It would be financial suicide to not go with the deal at this stage. I've spoken to GGG on this matter and satisfied myself that they have a number of bases covered so should things not go to "plan" there are alternatives to roll out... Once we are made whole on bullaB, I would anticipate a fairly rapid march toward 35p and beyond...there is just too much gold in the ground and lots more potential...could do with some higher grade but as it is we still have a sweet deal | carl79
15/3/2012 21:18 | We've been there before Temu! ==================== Sorry Sbh071, lost me on that one? | temujiin
15/3/2012 20:49 | We've been there before Temu! | sbh071
15/3/2012 20:01 | London, we aren't yet 'confirmed' as a merged company, GGG has just changed names, AZX need to approve the merger later this month. However if AZX don't approve, it will be very very very messy! But the upshot of their SH's not approving would be an almost bankcrupt AZX and GGG would mop up the asset. That said it would be much better for AZX to approve. | temujiin
15/3/2012 18:41 | Well I expect AZX to catch up tonight with London leading the way to 30p Tomorrow as we now have confirmation that we are a merged company . Time will tell Goodluck tomorrow I have meetings all day so I won't be around much.. | londonfinancial
15/3/2012 18:34 | without people selling stock that were more valuable than the sale price, no one would make money...must be a winner ... must be a loser...dont be a loser | carl79
15/3/2012 18:28 | Carl, Can't disagree but i will be watching like a hawk as i smell an opportunity. Tem, Apologies, should have worded a little better ie 'WOULD be nice to see it over $1700'. | xclusive2
15/3/2012 17:46 | I believe the MM's will be lead by the market and wont give a toss about what AZX's price is in Oz. They may play the market to fill orders or collect shares on the cheap etc but if we have more buyers and fewer sellers they will either have to increase the spread to stifle trading, or mark it up/down depending on buys/sells. I could be back in the market if they play silly billy's | temujiin
15/3/2012 17:35 | LSkier, I hope they don't but Wednesday was a bizarre trading day with MM's offering 21/22 for the larger parcels. All i can say, if they do, take advantage of it, simple ! Smarty | xclusive2
15/3/2012 17:23 | xclusive why would they want to do that? they may screw us but when it comes to a choice between us and the Aussies I would have thought it was 'no contest'. | leedskier
15/3/2012 17:21 | Court Approval of UK Scheme of Arrangement The Company is pleased to announce that earlier today the UK court approved the UK Scheme of Arrangement and the capital reduction of the Company. As previously announced, GGG shares will be cancelled from trading on AIM at 7.00am on Friday 16 March and the new Bullabulling Gold Limited shares will be admitted to trading on AIM at 8.00am on Friday 16 March 2012. | leedskier
15/3/2012 17:19 | George, 28% to be exact BUT that is only relevent if GGG stays where it is and i have a feeling the MM's will try to pullback BGL tomorrow am to close the gap, let's see. Smarty | xclusive2 |
