After a 30% retrace from 4.5p we are at good support in the rising channel trend. I have added a further 250k at 3.1899p to take holding to a nice round 1m

£1m admin costs for the year....no chance. It'd be absolutely amazing work to get them down to £1m a quarter this quickly.

V10 looking good with custom esports advertising. Big revenue potential without the F1 sponsorship issues. https://twitter.com/v10rleague/status/1325725249380503554?s=21

Hi all,

I've started an investment blog covering my favourite companies (got 22 more to write, which i'm aiming to do over lockdown!).

First up was my blog/research note on 4D Pharma - my number 1 fave! Second up is GFIN - please do provide feedback, good or bad!

Here's the link. Please feel free to share it on twitter, other boards etc...

Also, you can follow me on twitter @richardjp87, where i'll be posting links to all my future blogs. Got some crackers lined up, which i 'm excited to write.

Good weekend all.

Chart still looking good.Huge money being pumped into gaming sector over next few months with new consoles and big titles being released, brands looking for exposure, esports growing and profitability next quarter. With a decent CEO at the helm can't see much downside.MMs will always play games before liftoff. My prediction is around 5 for year end increasing to 8 after half year results 2021.

I own quite a lot of GMBL shares on Nasdaq and they have a 3 pillar strategy - GFINITY would be good fit and push them exactly in the right direction imo

They have also been buying companies left and right

Hmmmm

Question is what is the GFINITY valuation - how much growth is baked in

I'm wondering if one of the big gambling groups might be interested, betting on esports is going to happen and they will want first mover, they can buy this whole company for peanuts, even twice this price is only £58m.

yes they have said costs are 50% of the run rate for last year.
and this also reconciles with the 65% reduction quoted when actioned in march time when JC took over as CEO.
it was that fact that highlighted to me this was very much a new broom and new approach.
obviously just my calculations but when you think what these guys are acheiving for c.4m a year , compared to the 16m a year spent at MIRI - it re-inforces my view of the risk/reward ratio here.

All IMHO, DYOR + BoL

admin costs of £1.0 - Thats a big drop from the £8.3m costs for year to end June 20..... which equates to £2.075m per quarter.

i have calculated back from last year results and this year H1 results
and my workings are:

they have stated regularly before about profitability for Q1 2021
so my estiamtes for Q1 2021:
t/o = 1.8m
GP = 1.1m
admin costs = 1.0m
profit = 0.1m

so this means that turnover is possibly growing from
< 0.5m in mar to june (albeit in heavy lockdown)
to 1.8m between jan and mar 2021
so this is huge growth rates
and using Q1 2021 turnover rates implies annual turnover (run rate) of 7m
so at the current 4p giving MV of 32m the valuation is 4.5 times
but obviously this is reducing rapidly as the growth rates kick in

given the valuation of comparable companies seems to support the rising chart to me,and of course like many others they have enough CASH and will be profitable soon.

All IMHO, DYOR + BoL

Hope we get an interview to explain the figures.

They previously stated they were targeting profitable by the end of Q1 2021, but that wording doesn't appear in today's announcement.

If you read the results in full, Gfinity is clearly on a new trajectory with only 3 months of that new plan under new ceo within these results. A great little business with amazing potential, which would no doubt be accelerated with a partnership or sale with a global player with more resources & clout. That said, John seems fully geared with progressing his plan to profitability should no interest in the business materialise.I'm the wrong age bracket for this gaming lark but the global numbers for both players & watchers are truly phenomenal IMO.I'm excited to see where this goes. I Hold.GLA
