24/9/2024 19:26 | Getech “evolving in the right direction” after strong first half By Stephen Farrell 24 Sep 2024, 08:09 The chairman of Getech Group has said the Leeds-based subsurface resources specialist is "evolving in the right direction" after a strong first half to the financial year. The listed company reported revenues of £2.2m for the six months to 30 June 2024, up from £1.9m in the same period of 2023. It also posted an EBITDA loss before exceptional items of £300,000, down from £1.6m the prior year. During the period, the group completed its diversification into energy transition market, and has grown its sales pipeline to £9.6m. In August, Getech raised £1.7m to bolster the balance sheet and provides growth capital to expand sales and business development teams. Michael Covington, Getech chairman, said: "The business is evolving in the right direction. Last year we reset the structure and focus of the company while also substantially reducing our overheads. "This year, following our recent fundraise, the business is well placed to increase its customer base of exploration companies seeking new discoveries of assets needed for the energy transition. To that end, we have an expanding pipeline of potential projects, and we are focused on converting them." | z1co
23/9/2024 18:11 | Positive outlook for H2 and 2025 Interim results presentation: | z1co
23/9/2024 08:10 | The company is valued at just £4m which includes cash of at least £1.5m. | z1co
23/9/2024 08:05 | !FOLLOWFEED 23/09/2024 CEO's comments: I feel the business is in a much better position. The restructuring has created a more focused, streamlined business operation and the recent fundraising ensures we can pursue our commercial ambitions. To that end, we have already recruited one senior business development executive who will be part of a wider team focused on monetising the £9.6 million pipeline of opportunities that have been developed. Alongside this, the Company will continue to pursue the equity participation transactions, particularly in the natural hydrogen space. Getech's increased revenue, combined with its cost reduction programme have resulted in a significant reduction in the losses incurred during the prior period. Getech reports an EBITDA loss, before exceptional items, of £0.3 million (H1 2023: £1.6 million), and is on track to being EBITDA positive by the end of 2024. | z1co
17/9/2024 20:20 | I am biting my tongue here.. They had the opportunity to give a return to shareholders, but they tossed the dice, but what were the reasons for their salary or shareholder returns. Trust and integrity! I don’t know but you must hope. | playful
13/9/2024 12:48 | Interesting someone still has a large bet on GTC share price rising with Spreadex disclosure this morning | 32campomar
04/9/2024 07:36 | Interim results due this month so expect a demonstration on how this management are performing. Revenue H1 last year was 1.9m which was substantially down from the previous year and my prediction is the fall in revenue will continue contrary to their indication otherwise prior to the placing. | playful

30/8/2024 16:00 | It's fairly clear that 2p was too low for the placing and it's an absolute steal for new investors at these levels. Lucky them! | 32campomar
30/8/2024 14:05 | I’ve resigned myself to a cheap takeover that will nicely crystallize a loss. Woopee. There is a decent business here it just needs decent management and being part of a larger group could do that. A larger group could almost use it as a loss-leader. Especially with increasing interest in non O&G exploration. Of course, being small will mean that if anyone picks up shares at this price with any knowledge of any suitors, the FSA will take no notice. | yump
30/8/2024 12:57 | I imagine some who missed out on the placing were hoping for the usual selling down to or below the placing price, waiting to pick shares up on the cheap. Not this time it would seem. | 32campomar
30/8/2024 12:53 | GTC AND EUZ doing well today good to see shareholders loading up on both could well rally later today | citys2874

30/8/2024 08:30 | Bit of a short squeeze going on, I see Spreadex have taken a holding which suggests someone is betting on the share price rising... | 32campomar
29/8/2024 16:44 | And here's a very encouraging article about why they are investing heavily in AIM stocks like GTC https://www.cityam.c | 32campomar
29/8/2024 13:50 | Octopus investments take a chunky 25 million (16%} shares | 32campomar
27/8/2024 17:52 | Any new contracts need to be ground-breaking with potential significant expansion, otherwise its just a humdrum business with a poor BOD. | yump
27/8/2024 15:53 | Nice to see a new high profile institution on board, Cantor Fitzgerald | 32campomar |
