28/3/2018 09:00 | Well, that’s a nice surprise to Start off this next phase o f life in this company. With a positive statement of intent, plus the fact that this new team have done this before. Mr Kuenzel moves to finance, which I think is sensible - he’s done a lot in Georgia and clearly has not had an easy time there. Time now to actually get on and move to permitting and mining plus getting the resource up. R. | rampair
28/3/2018 08:23 | Excellent news, ex Lundin guys in charge, with great history of building mines. The Canadians will be buyers again as Neil O`Brien has a loyal following. Price has been trashed for all the wrong reasons. | saracen3

27/3/2018 19:19 | Although I agree there was a mistake on GEO's side in 2016 by, perhaps naively, expecting faster production, the fact is they've made significant progress with very little money raised or cash burn, compared to other juniors in Canada that have raised several times. You have to look big picture here, and then add a dash of context around their partner, and the struggles they've faced. When you call their office, their Directors have basically lived in Georgia the last few months working with the partner, and as per recent announcement, massive progress has been made. To the big picture - Go to Mining Journal and look at their front-page article to get a glimpse of the impending copper supply crisis. ANyone who knows the mining industry knows it takes 10 years to develop a tier 1 mine from finding it. What I didn't realise is copper is actually double that! Yes, that's right, a full 20 years! ANd that doesn't include the time taken to find it. The good news is, exploration for copper is up significantly, and recent law changes in the DRC only means companies are now flocking to Balkans and other tethyan belt countries. I, for one, will be holding this a very long time, as I am convinced the company is working hard enough behind the scenes to get this done. There's always risk in junior mining, hence the possible upside. anyone not accepting this is a fool. So of course it can be volatile in these early stages. And of course it can fail. But from my extensive research over the last few years, confirmed by reports from the likes of John Mayer, I am holding and expect significant progress in months to come. DYOR. | vesperdene
27/3/2018 14:49 | This GKP/microscope double act reminds me of the MO the rampers employ on lse - one the sober pragmatist and the other a potty-mouthed yobbo. Almost certainly the same bloke talking to himself. That's saaaaaaaad! | 5trelok
27/3/2018 14:47 | This will close up with large trades at the end of the day with another blue day tomorrow | gkp heros

27/3/2018 08:08 | Georgian Mining has reached an agreement with its partner Caucasian Mining Group (CMG) in connection with the development of the Kvemo Bolnisi gold-copper project in Georgia. Both partners have agreed to equally share the funding responsibilities for the joint venture company Georgian Copper and Gold (GCG) as part of the initiative.Georgian Mining originally earned its 50% stake in GCG after the company spent $6m towards its operating costs as required under a deal that was signed in 2015.The partners have adopted a 2018 work programme following the completion of the initial two-year project, which is slated to focus the development of a mining operation at KBE Gold Zone 2 (GZ2)."Initial production from the gold oxides will serve as a starter operation and pave the way for the subsequent exploitation of the primary copper-gold sulphide ores at KBE."Georgian and CMG are expected to undertake an in-fill drilling programme for resource definition in order to further develop KB East target (KBE) GZ2 gold oxides.Simultaneousl | gkp heros

26/3/2018 20:51 | A cynical attempt to give the impression of openness and accountability without being open or accountable - reminds me of the time my mate Ben met Keunzel and another gang member to put PI's questions to them and came back with the same non-specific platitudes. In fairness to Ben, though, he was thoroughly charmed by Kuenzel - going so far as to describe him as a "good looking young man." Lol | 5trelok
26/3/2018 20:38 | Nice one microscope but I think it's far more straightforward than that. I think the individual lost money investing in the share during the NMG days and is now very bitter and can't bear the thought of other people making money so he/she is doing their best to run the share down. They must lead a very dull life if that's how they choose to spend their time. | sclper |
