23/3/2018 12:09 | Seems that GEO have no skin in the game - worrying, to say the very least. | 5trelok
23/3/2018 12:07 | “Acquiring Bolnisi via an all share transaction ensures the interests of our joint-venture partner and those of our shareholders are aligned,” Greg Kuenzel, Noricum CEO, said." Yawn | 5trelok
23/3/2018 11:57 | Ok looks like Greg and co ready to unleash news latest rns is indicating that sleeves are now being rolled up as work should be close to production. 26p+ a share was hotting up at the high recently now pulled back ref recent tie in talks and joint plans negotiations being solved. All done now so imminent movement up is on the cards at last .There has been heavy buying as we know at the bottom here so shrewdly buying for the run up could be very rewarding. | iloveit
23/3/2018 11:53 | 5trelok, tell me, how could GMC be the joint venture company if it is 100% owned by GEO??? The joint venture company is GCG which holds the project, and is 50% owned by GEO and 50% owned by CMG. As always you get all your details wrong, and you don't even have a basic grasp of corporate finance, geology or mining. So stop pretending that you do. | nohead
23/3/2018 11:45 | 5trelok, the JV company is GCG, not GMC. | nohead
23/3/2018 10:37 | Huge RNS from Serabi Mining SRB 15 million USD investment at the current Share Price, to a single investor. Very low valuation considering its level of gold output. Results this month, last November showed a huge jump in cash to over 9.7 million USD. Rerate now undeway, and stock in very short supply. Up almost 30% already.... | serabi_mining_srb
23/3/2018 10:25 | Some more distressed selling going on ! | iloveit
23/3/2018 09:59 | > nobrain "5trelok, the transaction you are referring to was for GEOs 100% owned local operating subsidiary GMC." I know I said I wouldn't respond but you're implausibly dim - GMC IS the JV. "The London-listed company said it would issue 1.29 billion new shares at 0.2 pence per share to the joint venture, known as GMC Investments Ltd. The deal has no cash element." And that is definitely my last word on the matter. | 5trelok
23/3/2018 09:44 | HUGE 200000 sell went through earlier - hasn't been added to lse's running totals. This is becoming a wearisome pattern and I may have to flag it up with the FCA | 5trelok
23/3/2018 09:42 | I see Mr Packwood has doubled down on his bad bet - never chase losses. | 5trelok
22/3/2018 20:01 | As I became aware of the ability of GEO to effectively take control if a work programme is started without any participation it is interesting. Why the continued drop though? What am I missing! R. | rampair
22/3/2018 19:34 | Interesting microscope. There doesn't seem to be enough volume to suggest short-covering, so probably market makers messing around. It feels like this is nearing bottom from a trading perspective and is certainly very cheap fundamentally. Even without the local partner's production facilities, this is an epithermal discovery. They have some very effective people on the board and new executive hires. In reality, the JV partner has just taken a big step forward with this new jointly-funded development phase. | nohead
22/3/2018 17:16 | Another 'negative mistake' from 5trelok, then, nohead? There seems to be a pattern here imho, to the point none of us will be remotely surprised any more, just bored with that predictability.... My buy order didn't get filled. That doesn't surprise me, lots of smoke and mirrors with the trading here imho from the market makers. Sell side far lower in recent weeks I think than people might think from a casual glance at the trades. So the explanation I think is indeed shorting. Anyway was an interesting little test. Would have been really happy with a fill but at least I learnt something useful! | microscope
22/3/2018 17:13 | In 2015 the deal was signed with Noricum. This deal required certain conditions to be fulfilled. This is the paragraph Noricom said it would spend $6 million over a two-year period on exploration and development at the project, after which its joint-venture partner, Caucasian Mining, would be required to contribute payment or dilute its stake in the project from the current 50 percent. Georgian fulfilled this. September 2017 to the satisfaction of the parties. R. | rampair
22/3/2018 16:16 | 5trelok, the transaction you are referring to was for GEOs 100% owned local operating subsidiary GMC. Upon spending $6m (in cash) to earn-in to the project, GEO was in September 2017 vested its 50% stake in GCG, which in turn owns the Bolnisi project. I have no idea where you got the notion that CMG would be obliged to divest 50% of its production facility to GMC for failing to reach a production agreement. It sounds like something you just made up. Contrary to what you say, it is quite common to for JV partners to get diluted if they are unable to meet their financial obligations to develop a project, regardless of whether the deal was financed via shares or cash. In this instance, GEO can dilute CMG if it chooses to and take control of the project. A through-put agreement with CMG's plant or heap-leach facilities can be entirely separate. Therefore the market has completely mis-understood/over- | nohead
22/3/2018 14:46 | I've added to my position today as I reckon this is the low. I think this it's a fantastic opportunity to buy in at a crazily low price. People will be kicking themselves for missing out as I think the price will recover quickly when more newsflow is released. | sclper
22/3/2018 14:30 | Here come the buys | gkp heros
22/3/2018 13:46 | Why is when the sells are smashing the share price of any stock, evil shorters are to blame. There is a monstrous unknown (like a very big elephant in a room) and it's savaging the share price Reality check. | sleveen
22/3/2018 13:40 | Left a cheeky buy order in to more than double my holding. Coiled spring effect likely here, the further it drops the more the rebound is going to hurt shorters, and very soon now imho, with Georgian having called the locals bluff and positive news getting closer by the day. Pleased to read on here that the earn-in has indeed completed. | microscope
22/3/2018 12:24 | I listened to John Meyer's podcast again. Undoubtedly the most unprofessional broker commentary I've ever heard, anywhere, anytime. Seems the market agrees. Still can't get over the claim that the Georgians might kick out RMG and give GEO the licence - bit like replacing Mary Poppins with Myra Hindley. Justin Waite's tone of bemused indulgence spoke volumes. | 5trelok
22/3/2018 11:19 | 450k sell @ 8p | sleveen
22/3/2018 08:45 | Quite GKP, they have signed a firm agreement to now share costs with the JV partner on a designated program to increase the resource, finalise the metallurgy and prepare the project for production. This is a big step forward and has been completely over-looked by the market. They obviously can't sign the definitive mining and production agreement until they know all the specific details of the met work, and technical issues such as how the gold oxide should be stripped. | nohead
22/3/2018 08:04 | And with approximately $5 million in the bank they will not be needing no cash soon. At least things are finally progressing now with J.V. Could be an exiting few months here taking us to Summer. As always DYOR and all in my honest option. GLA | gkp heros
22/3/2018 01:53 | 5trelok suggest you read the announcements before you comment on them. It is very clear GEO only earned in its 50% after satisfying its $6m expenditure CP. likewise, the rest of your “analysis̶ | nohead |
