I would love to believe that last statement but I read that as more waffle.

The signing of an agreement with your own partner has DRAGGED on far too long.

Get it signed or get off the pot.

Georgian Mining Corporation announces that it is in the final stages of negotiation with Caucasian Mining Group, its 50% partner in Georgian Copper & Gold JSC ('GCG'), in relation to the 2018 exploration and development programme within the 860 sq km licence on the Tethyan Belt in Georgia.

The negotiations have been expanded over the past weeks to include a comprehensive business plan, work programmes, the strengthening of the board of GCG as well as the framework agreement to develop and exploit the gold oxide production target at Kvemo Bolnisi East.

It is expected that the final agreements will be completed in early 2018 and a detailed announcement will follow.

Just a matter of being patient guys. The comprehensive business plan will take time. Up to you if you wish to average down at intervals or not - your call.

Painful lesson to learn.

Never buy into a company where, for less than 50k, you own more of the company than the lack lustre Chairman.

The problem is the JV partner also sees the price of gold. Why make it easy when making it difficult seems to work. Very frustrating for everyone on our side I imagine
- not to say there won’t be a deal, there’s a point where putting your own plant in becomes cost effective.

All guesswork while we wait I have no more idea than anyone.

Nice to see Gold on the up.

Well, I bought when it dropped to 14 and thought “ how clever “ when it spiked up
and the share had a new CEO etc, but
when little happened despite both Copper and Gold doing well, you begin to imagine
that there’s a frustration building
Particularly with long term holders having seen 26now with the share price down under 13p
There’s value here, but who is brave to take it?

Really been disappointed with ceo as to updates which clearly has spooked investors.Price has fallen over 50% down from 26p so any news will now be of no significant value to holding investors. What is really going on?Gutted as this has been overhyped and I've not been impressed by any latest developments if any comin from the board .Latest recruit excuse me zzz

It's news anytime now for GEO and everything on the news. If everything has gone well in discussions and I see no reason why not. It will be the next stage of digging, loading and trucking.
Caucasian mining group know that GEO have satisfied requirements in the agreement on spending and it's joint expenditure from now on in.
Caucasian are unlikely to want to hang about that much longer.

Yes, a corporate update in the middle of Xmas, New Year was the last we heard.

I would hope that a couple of months would be enough, but, when is the Orthodox new year? I know Georgia celebrate Xmas day on January 7th, as this is the Julian calender
not our Gregorian one (see how Wikipedia makes posts seem clever!)

so if they all got stuffed, give a few days to be back negotiating and our new man has had only a few weeks to get a group to an agreement that in the previous 6 months they didnt manage.

During negotiations, if I was the party with the operating machinery, I’d assume I had the best position...
However, paying a bit more, to not have to go through the hassle of getting permits to build your own processor is quite a big deal. The price of Copper has gone up- maybe
they want to tie in a price escalator to get more for their processing. All unknown.

We have to sit in the dark because I’m sure that they don’t want all this out in the open.

Frustrating for shareholders that it’s gone on so long in total though.Especially with all that lovely ore!

I didn’t take it as a problem Arthy2!
I rather agree, I’m wondering what the authorities would say to us building?
Would it mean Env.impact,Social etc?
I wish they would update though realize
negotiations etc, the new guy has a job
on here.

Art,

That pretty much sums things up here, great assets, huge potential but prolonged negotiations with partners building uncertainty into the current price. Hopefully the board will be able to clarify the situation in due course. Whether that's down the road of standalone facilities or shared will remain to be seen.

Regards,
Ed.

How I see it, we had, two course of actions,

1) Use the partners facility,
2) Build our own stand alone facility.

How can it take over 6 months to negotiate with a partner?
Either, they no longer have the capacity or they don't want us to use it, ie charging us too much.

If so ,why have we wasted 6 months to start building. We must have known pretty early on if they were being difficult. Hence why they decided to keep on proving up instead of sticking to their original plan to be mining by Christmas.
The intention was to get started on the relatively cheap strip containing the gold to finance the proving up.

They have, in their defence, found things to be much larger and needed to re-plan, but the gold strip could have still commenced.

In fact, it wouldn't surprise me at all if the next bit of news will be, 'We have decided to build our own plant, and we need more money".

2 more years unnecessary delay.

I'm sorry to sound so negative, I don't intend to run the share down as I am a lth with a decent holding.

You can sugar coat this as much as you like, but to date , very poorly handled.

Arthy I take your point, it’s very frustrating as is the JAY comment.
I think it’s fair enough to take this attitude when communication has been so poor.

I do see that the new man has done well previously so I have hopes, could it be that the partners are a bit frustrated too so he has to prove that we are serious. If it
has an operational plant there already and a mining licence, it really should be achievable.
I wonder if JAY raising capital last week has taken up GK’s time?

In fairness the new guy has only had a few weeks to find his feet, no doubt work through the options and then come up with the best plan. I understand your frustration Arthy, especially as you've been here a lot longer than me, obviously, but I do think he still has the benefit of the doubt, for a while longer.

No question imho the current market cap simply does not remotely equate to what's going on here together with the resources, and the upside is massive. As you say though, delivery needs to be sooner than later. I know if I sold (I'm not about to!) news would come the next day....
