Thanks a lot for that David, but any idea why this stock has taken such a huge tumble???? This is partially a copper play and copper stocks are in demand. Is there something that has gone wrong with this company recently that I am missing?

Put them in your bottom drawer and forget all about them. You'll get a nice surprise later!

For a start, they were cheap, 5% down, and we are not very far away from news. Just think about all of the diamond drilling they have done since the last update. These electronic gismo's are OK, but the only real way to find out for sure what is below your feet is to drill a hole, recover the core to surface, and analyse the contents. So they have done a lot of drilling and sample taking and a lot of analysing and the writing of reports to tell the shareholders what they have discovered.

That's why I have bought.

Plus, there was a guy on an IG Group video who was very excited about the potential of Geo and that was what attracted my attention in the first place. I am an investor in precious metals and in oil. I like to think that when the financial markets rollover later next year, people will dive into gold for safety and gold will take off. At the moment, not too many people are interested in gold. They are still absorbed in their Apple phones, but all that will change, shortly. I have learnt through hard experience that the best time to buy is when no one else is interested.

I am defensive with half my pot in the market and half in cash.

I have a few shares bought higher up, but don't know what to do with them. There is obviously something wrong. Why did you buy more shares davidspring?

That's a tidy swoop for 100k you must be confident gl.To be fair it's just down to company to assure all is well and that could be a hell of a bargain.

If the gold properties join up lower down, as is looking increasingly likely, who knows how big the resource is? It's all to play for here and we should know a lot more shortly.

Fair enough then loads in the bank.It's drifted lower things have not changed as we know so yes patience is the key.Just a reassuring rns on production status would clear the stubbornness coming from the board.Let's see that 30-40p target many hoped for before end of this year 2017.

I've just bought another 100,000 @ 13.480p. but they are not showing yet. I guess we'll be getting an update soon.

It's got millions in the bank still from the last fund raise so no chance of 'going bust' anytime soon

Well, looking at the "news room", they had a site visit in early October, then plenty of positive geological news since then. A positive report came out a couple of weeks ago also, and the copper price has been really good. Yet this stock just goes down and down and down. Looks like people a lot smarter than me (in this case everyone) knows something I don't.....

teemore and others I would like it if they got on with something that was worth reporting.

They seem like the old regime at CERP. Ritson was talking about doing things, but new directors came in and started the work.

There is money out there wanting to invest in good projects including royalty companies.
Osisko is putting big money into the new IPO - Eris exploration for Zinc in Ireland and gold in Sweden.

Personally I would like them to continue prove up the reserve before making a decision on mining as that is the preferred/normal route for a exploration company.

We are in a bull market for copper yet this stock is down 40% in the last two months. So there must be something going on?

I know what you mean 8p-14.75p in 2017 is horrendous they really should take a long hard look at themselves. Well they attracted the wrong sort of traders that think that mining is all about production. SOLG did very very well without it so far! But at least the inistis that bought realise the scope of GEO's assets, while shrewd investors tuck these away.

Where's Greg?I suppose usual to much snow ,wind ,rain ,muddy ,hard ground, grass to long,drinking tea,who cares anyway ...it's gone very quiet for a long time now.If this was full of copper & gold you would be fighting to keep predators away ...what has actually been achieved so far ?no production still !!

Absolutely, new gold discoveries with thick intersects from 2m etc. Folks complain that its now so large its warranting its own standalone facilities. To me the fact that the first target is now a 50Mt+ target is a good thing not a bad thing. But there's no pleasing everyone especially not on AIM.

Surprised that peeps sold on it. Looks and sounds very bullish to me.

I agree that moving away from the production trial is sensible. It's much better to focus on building the resource at present.

Looks like the seller has finished. Well done you guys who waited before jumping in. Still, I'm happy enough with an average of 16.4p!
