11/7/2017 12:34 | As bullish a podcast we've had from GK of GEO putting time limit on production for the 1st time. | timw3
11/7/2017 10:23 | Yes I think algorithms and high frequency traders (one I know) trade for the small gains on faster moving stocks unlike on relatively slower moving AIM stock market. The excellent bluejay mining for example has been awaiting its next move from 14p to over double since march/April's JORC. But movement is coming soon. These things waiting for drilling results start of production etc need a more human than bot touch I suspect. AI isn't that sophisticated yet to accurately anticipate and interpret future value of mining companies IMO | airs999
11/7/2017 10:12 | Buy the rumour, sell the news is a well known investing/ trading phrase and one that often, but not always, plays out in reality. Off course many successful Investors see the ''selling news'' as a dip and a buying opportunity for the medium/ long term, especially in a recognised up trend. | pj 1
11/7/2017 10:03 | Utter rubbish. The spread on most of these shares is 5% so why would anyone trade it. Most folks aom for 50-100% gains on any share. I myself have made 100% on UKOG and NUOG in the past week as an example. | timw3
11/7/2017 10:01 | People 'buy low' in anticipation of some good news, and automatically sell when it arrives. No questions asked, just sell. If you can make a 5% or 10% profit and keep doing that several times a year in a company then you will do very well over time.Don't forget also that about 70-75% of all trades are automated, so the bots are just trading on the charts and volume, to make a quick in and out 2% profit or whatever. Not many people hold AIM shares for long-term growth. But some do, and can make spectacular gains in the right companies. Let's hope GEO is one! | cyberbub
11/7/2017 08:47 | David Burton @DavidBurton1971 2m2 minutes ago More David Burton Retweeted James #GEO will be on the @VoxPodcast today chief...David Burton added, | timw3
11/7/2017 08:32 | Cyber if they sell on good news, when do they buy? | airs999
11/7/2017 08:15 | Georgian Mining Corp (LON:GEO) Managing Director Greg Kuenzel talks about it's maiden gold resource at Gold Zone 2 exceeding the initial target of 750kt to 1Mt at 1 g/t Au. Greg talks us through the highlights of the findings and now that the metallurgical test work is 95% complete explains what what happens next. | ga_dti
11/7/2017 08:07 | I fully expect us to be 2-3% in the red today. AIM shares *always* sell off on good news like this. | cyberbub
11/7/2017 06:56 | Agreed guys, fab news. Everything on track for phase 2 and production, gonna be an exciting end to the year. And plenty more shallow infill and step out holes to drill. Phase 3 will be production and expanding the resource to 50Mt+ That's a lot of Au and Cu from a small area of KB! Still looking as world class as ever as this is just one of 14 targets that the company has on this massive licence. Regards, Ed. | edgein
11/7/2017 06:52 | A concern with GEO was a missed deadline or falling short of initial target. Target 13% above 📈 & a week early Production news coming | timw3
11/7/2017 06:44 | The gold results are roughly inline with what was expected for zone 1 as efficiency in production is quite low in the 75% to 80% range. However, getting closer to delivering the ore is good news. The previous copper results are the real plus but becoming cash positive has to be the first aim. | noirua
11/7/2017 06:39 | Superb RNS - yesterday was a perfect top up opportunity and I am pleased to have added another 25,000 GEO. No doubt some of those sellers will be buying back in today having called it wrong. | adorling
11/7/2017 06:29 | So we've got about £5m cash and 2 Lundin members on the BoD, which values our assets at about £15m. Huge potential. | timw3
11/7/2017 06:27 | the most important message of today's RNS is that the company continues to deliver to a timeline. Rare on the AIM. | timw3
11/7/2017 06:25 | That is huge. Low/no stripping means costs and time saved. Given that the target has been exceeded by 2x + and a good deal should be secured for processing from the JV, production this year could result in positive cash flow next year. This means cost of borrowing will be lower to ramp up full production (due to the lower risk), time to full production reduced and exploration of further targets accelerated. We are looking like a very attractive proposition now (Even more so than we were!) | timw3
11/7/2017 06:24 | 'The initial Gold Zone 2 resource covers an area extending from surface to the base of the oxides at approximately 40 metres depth with a footprint of 150 x 150 metres and, as the Resource occurs from surface, no significant stripping will be required on commencing production .' Seems like company close to production. | timw3
10/7/2017 18:14 | Theres a lot wrong with that when your wife is unwell!! | timw3
10/7/2017 17:14 | Timw: FWIW the mid 70's is the new mid 60s. I'm 75, still skiing and sailing, and yes, still working, and loving life. What's wrong with that? | shavian
10/7/2017 15:40 | Indeed anything in the 17 and 18p territory superb value! | airs999
10/7/2017 15:04 | Really great buying opportunity at this price. Have just added. | adorling
10/7/2017 14:37 | I have timw3 filtered. Unless someone knows anything specific, I would think resignation of a NED was relatively insignificant, assuming they are replaced in a reasonable time frame? | cyberbub
10/7/2017 12:39 | Not at all, I wish him and everyone good health and happiness. Unlike some. I only pointed out it would not have been a ''day job''. No big deal. | pj 1
10/7/2017 10:18 | Hes in his mid 70s!! Do you expect him to work till he's dead? caring for his wife is more important at his stage in life. not everyone is pond life like yourself! | timw3
10/7/2017 10:04 | He was a Non Executive Chairman. Therefore it would not have been his ''day job'' | pj 1 |
