Crossed posts there - mine was aimed at Vesperdene.Yes that was my point - low cost, shallow pits, no capex needed for a plant. Surely they should be able to generate say $2-3M a year fairly easily?

True to a certain extent, but if they can generate enough cash flow to keep the lights on and exploration going, that would remove the constant fear of placings which dogs AIM shares. The share price would then respond much better IMO.Just a thought anyway

Its at surface and the partners plant is just down the road so yeah its likely a low cost rapid start up. Although I'd imagine that Greg wills stick to the phased approach and get us to the 3-5Mt resource before moving to the production phase, which will take us towards their target of 50Mt+ with gold.

Vesper,

I think Greg's plan is to use the cash flow when it comes to prove this first of 14 targets to 50Mt+. So production with a strong emphasis on expo.

Personally, I won't get hung up on production. Yes, it's a great story but it's small fry in terms of near-term upside. The real upside is GEO being an exploration story, surely. If they keep connecting the dots (more news in next few weeks), and this turns out to be a large discovery, the production becomes rather irrelevant in the near term.

You think so? I thought they'd at least complete the assays and 20 more planned holes before they'll start production. You think they'll go into production before this?

Well the theory is to provide some liquidity until the share price is higher for any fundraising, so less dilution... but I hear what you're saying...

@cuberhub. Regulations changed on AIM amd its almost the opposite problem now. The definition of being on the inside has changes to the point that it's almost impossible for board to buy their own stock. As for loaning.. amateurs and chances maybe, but the board at GEO are a bit more serious and professional.

Vesperdene, if the board are pretty well connected and wealthy people, who knows they might offer the company a loan until the next set of drilling results? Done commonly enough in junior miners - and indeed other sectors.Just a thought. NAI

Scene is set for a fund raise.. been for a while. Ill be amazed if theres no announcement on raise in next week or so. Greg K probably struggling to pin a price, consideRing move upwards last 10 days.

Either way, i expect fireworks especially once new drill results are announced.

Bought a few today. The location seems risky, but the low-cost and large-sized resources are there. No need for capital for a plant. Big hitters in terms of management - also quite incentivised. Instis buying in. Market cap a bit higher than some perhaps, but production could be underway within a few months. Assuming no bad news, I would see downside of 25% and upside of 100% by Xmas.GLA NAI DYOR etc

Very good post. Hopefully not too soon for the buyout, we need to get more of these world class deposits proved up first and production start up. But that's where we are heading imo.
