Arthy2 and Hairyhatman, you need to relax. Rome (or the USSR) wasn't built in a day (5 year plans for the latter). Sip some beers, relax with your English setter, put on some excellent vinyl and watch Comrade Greg grow this timeshare beyond your wildest dreams.

Hairyhatman.......my sentiments entirely. It's got nothing to do with "instant gratification'"I just want some realistic RNS and stop p?ssing up my leg and telling me it's raining.

Headless chickens. Thats rich. Your head is in the sand. Some would say, denial. If you are happy with the quality of communication, there is more than your head in the sand. I'm 40k down, are you?

It’s got nothing to do with ‘instant gratification’. I’m more than willing to hold the shares I currently own for a couple of years. The problem lies with the constant change of direction and stupid self set time deadlines set by the company. If they just laid out a realistic plan for where the company is actually heading and gave regular updates as to how things are progressing everyone would be happy. It’s always advertised as short term.. and that’s never achieved.. hence disappointment.

Interesting little mention on the Vox podcast today. Sounds very positive. I bought in this week in the 12.5 v 12.75 range so feeling pretty comfortable.

Yes, exactly microscope. The wait seems like a long time to shareholders but in reality it is not unusual for it to take this amount of time to get a resource into production. The new chief operating officer, who is likely to be leading the negotiations on behalf of GEO, has only been in the role for 1.5 months. A little more patience will be rewarded here. I'm confident the company is still on track and anyone buying shares now is getting an absolute bargain.

Good post Noirua. Some headless chickens desperate for jam now, where waiting a few weeks could bring massive rewards. I understand that the market psychology has changed to reflect society's instant gratification culture, in recent years. But companies haven't.In fact good ones get the deals they want, even if it takes longer than ideal. If my years in the market have taught me anything, it is that nothing ever happens quickly. Regardless of sector or business. Sellers here are imho sure to miss out.Big time.

And as far as “you can always average down” I read that as throwing good money after bad.

I would love to believe that last statement but I read that as more waffle. The signing of an agreement with your own partner has DRAGGED on far too long. Get it signed or get off the pot.

Georgian Mining Corporation announces that it is in the final stages of negotiation with Caucasian Mining Group, its 50% partner in Georgian Copper & Gold JSC ('GCG'), in relation to the 2018 exploration and development programme within the 860 sq km licence on the Tethyan Belt in Georgia. The negotiations have been expanded over the past weeks to include a comprehensive business plan, work programmes, the strengthening of the board of GCG as well as the framework agreement to develop and exploit the gold oxide production target at Kvemo Bolnisi East. It is expected that the final agreements will be completed in early 2018 and a detailed announcement will follow. -- Just a matter of being patient guys. The comprehensive business plan will take time. Up to you if you wish to average down at intervals or not - your call.

Painful lesson to learn. Never buy into a company where, for less than 50k, you own more of the company than the lack lustre Chairman.

The problem is the JV partner also sees the price of gold. Why make it easy when making it difficult seems to work. Very frustrating for everyone on our side I imagine - not to say there won’t be a deal, there’s a point where putting your own plant in becomes cost effective. All guesswork while we wait I have no more idea than anyone. Nice to see Gold on the up. R.

Smells like problems with JV partner - Could there also be political problems ?
