Just one of the 3 mm's left at 38p now.
Price should break through resistance shortly, and achieve a new high - higher than any prices we have seen since before Hemmings etc. Trend now strengthened by this.

Level 2 shows WINS just gone to 36/39p. on 33k volume. The other two mm's usually follow.

I speculated in post 29 that maybe directors were buying. Of course, I was forgetting that they are in a closed period before the results and that would be against the rules.
Is a closed period 2months or 3 months? Can anyone tell me?
The results are coming out in December according to the company. There is a deadline for them, but I don't know when that is.

We've already had the profit warning (hence original price drop) and got that importantly out of the way, it is now in the price as they say......but, moving along..., John intimated a possible upside shown in results....maybe new banking facilities or lessening of debt.

On the trades side.....some nice big lates showing up now. Presume they are buys as the mm's did not waver, and price is above sell price so usually a buy....nice and big too!!

Trading seems to be tailing off for today. I think it may have been a build up for some sort of imminent announcement. Maybe results might be postponed whilst they re-work their strategy (due to fresh input from John Hemming).
We expect the results to show problems, but they could be tempered with an announcement of some sort of deal, after all he's only just got on board and it will take time to arrange.

Oh dear.....it worries me. You see, most of the dross still inhabits iii, but they are migrating over to advfn bit by bit. Is that bad?....yes. The bb's will go down hill. Then traffic will decrease here......advfn suffers.....and we all lose out. Hope it does not go that way.

Schrewd investors here will point out anyway, that dross feeds the market....especially bear markets.

Anyway back to ghg....any thoughts?

Looking at the intraday graph (a favourite guide for me)....it indicates allthose big trades were buys....as they are followed by price rises in each case.

They show up 1 hour later.....so keep watching !

But notice the positive sentiment.

Wonder where this will reach over the next two weeks?

There will be some dips....like Friday....just to shake out the sellers......but as I said at length before, many argue success comes from investing (not trading) in undervalued stocks, and not being shaken out on the way. Value Chaser chose his name with good reason. Read his estimates.....and dyor of course.

Oh well, just after I posted Credit Lyonnaise upped it to 34-37p. The other two still on 33-36p. ... but for how long??

Level2 shows Peel Hunt just gone up to 33-36p. Only CLS left at 32-35p. so they should go up anytime now.

Mungoa. I think you may be right about the mm's knowing something. They were putting the price up the day before the announcement about John Hemming joining the board. It seems to me they are trying hard to avoid too much volatility.

Need to see break and sustained close above resistance 35p then I'd say we have an initial target of 50p short-term.

I think the price rise is still to do with the appointment of Hemmings, has this man ever lost any money!
