1202 GMT [Dow Jones] Dresdner Kleinwort says much of Sanofi-Aventis' (SNY) top-line miss is simply due to the delayed shipment in flu vaccine. Says that if looking at possible positive catalysts, they outweigh negative ones. Notes there may be some ongoing cautiousness as Apotex is currently appealing the injunction, but adds that much of the Plavix generic risk is already being priced in to the stock at this level. "Looking through the sentiment, the stock has real value." Keeps buy stance. Shares trade +0.4% at EUR66.9. (EXB)

bought some sanofi aventis shares for 67 euros in the hope it will touch 80 euros

1006 GMT [Dow Jones]--Cheuvreux lowers Sanofi-Aventis's (SNY) target price to EUR80.00 from EUR83.00 as the company's sales could be impacted by "the recent string of cost-containment measures in Europe, most notably in Germany and in France." Yet it says "the evaluation document of Acomplia in Europe leads us to optimism for next approval in the US." Shares stable at EUR66.60. (GAM)
