Part of answer to the revenues issue is to get around the table and progress monetization of our gas assets.

'KRG expert committee ready to talk budget concerns with Baghdad '

By Rudaw 46 minutes ago

"The statement did not detail plans for a visit to Baghdad, but it hints that the KRG is making preparations for talks with the central government. If and when such a trip takes place, it will be the first public talks on a political level between the two capitals since Kurdistan’s independence vote. "

ERBIL - In the final version of a national defense legislation released on November 8th, the US Congress has omitted a condition which had bounded US military aid to Kurdistan Region's Peshmerga forces to "contingent upon KRG's participation in the government of a unified Iraq".The US Department of Defense has asked for $365 million in stipends and sustainment for Peshmerga in 2018.

BAGHDAD - The Iraqi central government has regretted a previous decision which intended suspending trade with banks in the Kurdistan Region or forcing them to close down, a source from Iraqi central bank said.The decision was reversed reportedly after bank managers gathered with the Iraqi central bank to appeal for reconsideration.However, according to the source, an official decision is yet to be made.

By referencing the constitution many times both Erbil and Baghdad have effectively recognised the 'red line' the border represents to KRG region; one that should not be crossed.

Its time for them to argue cash; the 12.6 and 17% issue.

Extract (first lines);

"ERBIL, Kurdistan Region — The Kurdish government in Erbil said on Tuesday that it respects a ruling by Iraq’s Federal Court that Iraq is a parliamentary and democratic republic with the constitution as the guarantor of its unity, saying it could become the basis for dialogue."

I agree and continue to add , I see DB upped its price by a tad today

small volume continues to shake it about all over , there's still not too much to be worried about yet IMO and the situation appears to be improving, the bullets have stopped flying KRG remain in control of the pipeline and looks likely that will continue , big oil will sort it out in the end , and big oil runs the show at the end of the day.

Still it would be nice to see it ticking up instead of this sideways nonsense

Imaginations are running riot with what could go wrong. For goodness sake . We have enough issues without dreaming up fanciful scenarios; I am waiting for someone to raise the risks of a giant meteorite strike next.

Spent 2 minutes looking into Pogues Churchill Mining 'issue'. Apparently their compensation claim was thrown out by ICSID and costs awarded against Churchill.
There are re courses to international law courts and arbitrations.

Iraq would not be effected I am prepared to bet companies still goto Russia despite the fleecing’s they get, look at BP and the oligarchs they had to buy into Rosenef to escape that rip off nobody is avoiding Russia just now or China where companies intellectual rights are regularly stolen as a price of being there. Iraq will always have investors because of it's oil, companies will accept that risk just as they do in other countries.

I don't think we are saying the UK government would 'intervene'. We are saying a severe impairment of genel would be a red flag to many investors for a future investment into Iraq or krg.

I am saying there are many unknowns and I don't rally think Iran/Iraq fear London, just look at what Iran is doing to a UK citizens in Tehran just now. Beside I have had AIM shares before ruined by corrupt foreign govenments and the assets stolen, Churchill Mining springs to mind didn't see the UK government intervening there.
