Probably someone continues to reduce to keep their portfolio balanced or to derisk prior to an acquisition

They did say corporate action was a priority. So really I am expecting two or three rns on the same day, announcing eg an acquisition and a trading update.

Problem is this share is very thinly traded. Trading volume is less than half a million in a day. Probably tightly held. That allows for share price to be manipulated easily.

Perhaps the clue is in the fact that they havn`t, as last year, called a bond holders meeting, so they need the cash for something....Corporate or Gas?

Last time they announced a plan to reduce the bonds before a buyback. They could do the same again. I would like to see them buy more back as they are paying a lot to service them

They do not need all the enormous cash pile for the mooted works. I think they are still thinking "gas" and having a big chunk of the midstream action to come.

Actually bond reduction would have to be RNSEd so I guess that hasn`t happened. Maybe its too expensive to re do them? Does anyone know? Or they need the cash...

Nor me- Just oodles of cash...I reckon it`ll be production increase, cash in bank increase, FCF increase- and/or a plan for gross debt reduction-(IE bonds refinanced)- taking down the interest payments. etc...

It is weird how much news there was last year end `17 in comparison with the `18 year end...Something is cooking, I`m sure.

They had better not think that GENL is going for sub £4. The true value of the gas assets warrants at least that.

Am not expecting ,on the 15th,anything dramatic in respect to the gas project.

If there was anything to announce it would have been , or will, be RNS'd before.

I would gob-smacked and very pleasantly surprised if we hear anything outstanding that day.

It will happen in the fullness of time.
