09/1/2019 19:13 | Brent really motoring. Surely even genl can hold above 200 tomorrow. | gregpeck7
09/1/2019 18:37 | Losses as cyan says above a lot of it will depend on the price of oil and the operational updates that come from DNO. I'd be surprised to hear from anything on the gas front in the short term, but you never know. There is also the possibility of a bid for the company - just as DNO bid for Faroe. I think with a decent update on the 15th and if oil stays in the range of $60-70 for a sustained period of time then £2.50+ is quite achievable. If Pesh turns out to be stellar (which I think it might) and the cash keeps coming in then maybe more. Longer term I'd like to see £5+ before I consider selling but may trade a little around the edge. Just my view, which given that we hear so little from the company in terms of its operations is mainly based on guesswork. A dividend would also help boost the share price as would a plan to buy back more bonds | nicksig
09/1/2019 18:36 | Saudi alledgedly want 80 bucks to balance the books If true I suspect theyll get it. Todays figures would have been sold off prior to Xmas its all sentiment based and who knows when sentiment changes? Grand old duke o york comes to mind.. | d1nga
09/1/2019 18:33 | Saudi Arabia's energy minister said he was confident that action to rein in output would bring the oil market into balance. Khalid al-Falih also said he would not rule out calling for further action. | losses

09/1/2019 18:04 | In case anyone is interested this is what I meant. Good to see the 15SMA picking up. Will need some decent volume from here to break upwards. Just my opinion and I'm holding for long term gains so none of this matters to me free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | nicksig

09/1/2019 16:51 | Again just failing to make 200p close. Never mind, the sell bots at this level will become exhausted eventually. All good churn ready for the next leg up. | chopsy

09/1/2019 12:17 | Agreed Losses...really wanted £5, if this hits £3.50 by April 2019 I will be out for good this time...should have sold at £3 then bought back at £1.53, as that seems the only way to make a profit here. | kulvinder
09/1/2019 12:02 | No volume, Genel always manipulated under low volume. Would be surprised to see us close red unless volume ticks up | sparky333

09/1/2019 11:00 | What about the guys who been here since the £10 days, they will be wanting their money back - so how do you think they feel? | kulvinder
09/1/2019 10:58 | Credit where credit is due the company is now stable and a cash cow, but now in 2019 I expect a complete change and aggressive growth of the company. They are in an enviable position and must capitalise on this but also not overstretch is go it alone on gas. | sparky333
09/1/2019 10:32 | Because I believe in Genel, ive been here years since the 60p days... But I want to see delivery now... I think that is reasonable.. | gregpeck7 |
