Why did you buy more then?

HUR isn`t producing anything and GENEL is debt free- It`s doing something right.

Nicebut, look at what HUR and DNO, just to name 2 companies have achieved last 18 months... We have drilled a couple of wells on TT and not even processed the seismic from somalialand yet...

There is patience and there is being taken for a ride.

When I spoke to them before Xmas- They were very aware of SH feelings- You could tell they are as frustrated as we are. My feeling is there is much going on in the back ground that can`t be rushed (EG Gas and FDPs etc)- We know how long DD takes- If Genel are looking at investing elsewhere....I may be wrong of course. Patience.

PS Nicebut, based on how tightly the shares are held I would prefer a buyback, as that would also push up a potential takeover price.... But a dividend would do for starters....

GENL are, apparently, waiting on KRG (re FDP approvals- KRG are more interested in the Gas), DNO (re Tawke and Pesh updates), Gas partner ( I dunno ? Non of us know)then there really isn`t much more they can do apart from continue to bank the money and keep pushing on the door, as I understand it.

If I was Rosneft or Gasprom I would put in a cheeky 300p bid now.

I am expecting fireworks next week. They have a huge opportunity here 1. Plans for Pesh in 2019 2. CPR for Pesh when ? 3. Taq - stabilised/ falling or increasing ?4. Bina light oil first production ?5. Somaliland partner / seismic revaluation progress6. Morocco ?7. GAS !!!!! Feb is far away The list goes on and if nothing substantial on Gas I for one will be furious with the time extension running out Feb.

Not going to share response but I have emailed Genel recently to say I am deeply unhappy with the performance of the leadership team and progress with GENL controlled assets, I have had a polite but unsatisfactory reply which I have responded to.

I would suggest more shareholders now contact the company and start to ask the basic questions like WTF are you doing 9 - 5 other than writing a cheque to DNO and drilling the odd TT well....

Genel are in a great position, but its got very little to do with Genel.

· A central processing facility at Peshkabir is set to be commissioned by
the end of 2018, which will have a capacity of up to 50,000 bopd, ensuring
that production remains unconstrained by surface facilities

My personal conservative expectation is 50k to Genel by end of 2019 across all fields High end could be 60-70k depending on Bina plans

The constraint is topsides facilities at the moment.

This is why I really want to know the plan for Pesh in 2019, How many wells Infrastructure Size Target for 2019 Each well to date is very impressive you could say the constraining factor is infrastructure.

If they hit 200k that is 14,000 a day "free barrels" to GENL just from receivables.. That would be insane....

Indeed,I think Pesh alone could be pushing over 100k in 2019.Hopefully some insight next week from Genel. So combined twake could be 180 to 200k Never mind Taq and hopefully Bina

Looks like tawke production is racing ahead. As per page 11 of dno latest offer doc to Faroe... dno now say they are a 125,000 bopd company, was 111,000 not log ago I think... is pesh pushing over 60,000? Whatever that's another big boost for genel and more free barrels under receivables. More chat around this on lse.. all looking good.

Brent $58.07. Slightly surprised that GENL has eased back a tad. Still see 200p by end of the week.
