Https://www.investing.com/analysis/big-uranium-rally-takes-shape-200202089 "The commodity experts at Palisade Research point out the recent bounce in the uranium ETF and speculate that another massive rally could be shaping up."

"My Retirement Fund 7 Jul '17 - 10:06 - 462 of 490 0 3 Back on Geiger trust here. I reckon this is going to shed 15 to 20% from here but wtfdik." The old fibber got it wrong, yet again. HA HA HA! However "wtfdik" ! That's a really good question for himself.

Yes, the Us are doing well today.Something's been brewing in the sector over the last few days. FCUUF and URG are currently motoring along at 7%+ and 6.5% tonight. I swapped most of my UUUU for UEC and then watched the former well outpace the latter. That's typical for me but I can't complain overall. I added here again today.

The uranio's are doing nicely again today over on the TSX as at 5.45pm London time: Cameco + 3.3% Denison + 5% Energy Fuels + 6% Uranium has been UP for seven consecutive weeks. Admittedly not by much - 4.5% in total- but certainly a good run of positive weekly gains. Encouraging. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP

I suspect the following has something to do with this: htTps://www.nei.org/News-Media/News/Japan-Nuclear-Update Reminded Mr Market that Japanese reactor restarts are proceeding, and Uranium supply therefore has a growing probability of slipping into deficit by the end of the year...

Just going to ignore truthteller3 as an intellectual time waster, although would point out that the "moron spike" paragraph was aimed at whoever I was responding to at the time (can't remember who, nor can I be bothered to check - it's pointless in the overall scheme of things). Looking like the potential for a good day here tomorrow. The North American stocks are beginning to come to life, and there's been a decent breakout from what appears to have been a triple bottom formation since May in the URA ETF: htTp://schrts.co/X5LCrz This ETF is now trading above it's 200 day EMA, which I find constructive. Looking slightly overbought at the current time, but overboughtness is the norm for the big rallies in the sector. I'd hope even truthteller3 has a good day tomorrow. Cheers.

Weasel words, Jimbo. You do not have the courage, let alone the dialectical ability to defend your sweeping rant at the other posters on this thread. Here is a small excerpt from what you ACTUALLY wrote: "I've also made a chunk off the moron spike. I am happy to take money from people moronic enough to thrown it away by overpaying for assets. Unlike yourself, I've had the objectivity to take some of my profits off the table." At whom was that aimed? How do you know that anyone here 'overpaid' for assets? How do you know the posters here "did not take some of their profits off the table"? How do you know that, unlike you, the posters here did not take ALL their profits off the table? (That would have been the logical thing for you to have done given some of the admittedly incoherent views that you have expressed.) FWIW I don't think that you have shown any poster on this thread that you are someone who should be listened to when it comes to investing in shares. (Nor has 'my retirement', LOL LOL LOL). Certainly YOU have no right to call anybody else a moron.

Steve73, thanks. :) humphbumph, I did not set out to imply anybody holding this is a moron; merely that anybody over-paying for it now at a premium to NAV is - especially given the Uranium sector is not in a bull market at the present time (although it looks like it's bottomed). If you re-read my posts, I think you'll find I've been pretty clear.

Poor sad old prat. He's obviously just lost much more on his ignorant messing around on the market. He now has an Extremely Tiny Retirement Fund. And it's making him splutter in anger because it's really hurting. He says "Im here to make money". The laughter is drowning the whole thread. Just change your moniker to "Carry on Lying" there's a good little fellow because it will alert new posters as to what to expect.

My retirement just plain lies about his investments in GCL. He has been caught out several times but he has the brass neck to continue his dishonest posts. As for Jimbo he has been ascribing actions and words to other posters without any evidence whatsoever. Then he calls us morons. In most people's view, it seems, HE is the moron!

Can we try to keep the tone on this board a bit more civil please gents... I'd hate to see it go the way of many others on ADVFN. thanks. Jimbo - if you replace one of the leading "http" with a capital it should make the links "clickable". htTp://www.world-nuclear.org/information-library/current-and-future-generation/plans-for-new-reactors-worldwide.aspx Https://katusaresearch.com/the-way-of-the-alligator/

It's just the style of your posts as though what you say should be taken as gospel. Valid opinion yes but a different approach needed.

matt123d, not sure if you read the part when I mentioned I was so bullish on Uranium in the medium term that it constitutes a massive part of my portfolio, including GCL. Seems you didn't notice this link I posted: hxxp://www.world-nuclear.org/information-library/current-and-future-generation/plans-for-new-reactors-worldwide.aspx Yep, highly bearish and I clearly have no financial interest given the 18000+ shares I dumped a few days ago was just a drop in the water of the GCL I do hold... All I've done is express an opinion that for anybody who's held this for a while, it would probably be wise to sell some to the idiots paying a premium to NAV for it off the back of a newspaper tip. Overpaying for assets is why the majority of private investors lose money in the natural resources space over the long haul, and underpaying whilst playing the cyclicality is why gents like Marin Katusa and Rick Rule have prospered: hxxps://katusaresearch.com/the-way-of-the-alligator/ P.S. It doesn't take a financial interest to have a valid opinion. Knowledge, experience and an open/objective mind count for far more and will serve you better. Consider wising up before the Markets force it upon you. It will be far less unpleasant.

Posting here to be proved right and imposing opinions rather than having a financial interest isn't well received.

I don't think it's that, just people looking to have their views confirmed, whereas the most successful investors want to have their views challenged.
