Yes, I am definitely a fan of under promising and over delivering. Suppose I just thought it would have been a timely interval to confirm (or otherwise) that although still in their relative infancy, plans for growth outside of Europe are progressing.

Agree RP but then again perhaps it's a case of better to under promise and over deliver than the other way round.

I do agree, Toffeeman.
I really don't see the relevance of comparing EV/Sales with far larger (and far better established with significant moat etc) general retailers and fast fashion outlets. Surely the logical comparator is the larger German musical instrument player, which they've ignored?

Happy to hold but thought that the AGM Statement was a little underwhelming and am slightly surprised by the positive share price reaction. Would have like to have seen some reference to progress or otherwise with regards to their expansion into the US.

I thought that the ED comment was pretty worthless.

Quite an encouraging review by Equity Development, I thought. Share price seems to be responding.

AGM trading update reaffirms guidance for the FY and CEO continues to see 'strong revenue growth' despite a competitive market.

Updated ED research note just published and freely available here:

I seem to remember the US traffic was around 5% about a year ago. The overall volume of US traffic certainly seems to have ramped up since the early part of this year. Mind you, the pound has fallen against the US dollar over that period. It'll be interesting to hear what the company have to say on progress.

Interesting that Gear4music.com is ranked higher in the U.K. than Boohoo. Traffic has tailed off a bit since February though. USA traffic is at 6.6%. Anyway you can tell what this figure was a year ago?

Not tried all of their websites but trends do not appear to be consistent across countries. The Germany, Netherlands, Italy and France websites have had a similar drop off to the UK since Feb. Whereas traffic appears to be increasing in countries such as Czech Republic, Denmark and Sweden.

It looks like Quilter sold 20.9 million shares to Old Mutual .

EDIT: This is part of the de-merger of Old Mutual - separating from Quilter. So effectively, the shares have just been moved from one part of Old Mutual to another.

Will be interesting to hear an update on G4M's progress into the US market, particularly given the recent Supreme Court ruling that removes the restriction on states collecting sales taxes from ecommerce companies. Previously, a company could not be charged state sales tax in a state that it did not have a physical presence.
