18/2/2019 10:12 | I am EXTREMELY confident PowerChina are a little bit more business savvy than the average Joe Bloggs buying a car off EBay. | jayviperjayviper
18/2/2019 10:00 | Sounds to me like they’ve bought a car that won’t start? Probably best to get diagnostics done before buying....And you have to know where to look for oil leaks imo | kreature
18/2/2019 09:20 | Kreature - answer is no....They do not have permission to mine, that's still a huge hurdle to overcome. | failedqs
18/2/2019 08:41 | More games. Down 7% on £5 k worth of sells. Yeah right | cambradjones
17/2/2019 19:50 | No it's gone from $50/mt to $90/mt. ----++ a lot has changed since 2006 and coal price has incresed 10 fold | loglorry1
17/2/2019 15:44 | If talking about the general area one would say yes mining has started.In fact there has been mining at nearby Barapukuria by A Chinese Company for some years.That mine is on the same coal seam as Phulbari. There have been suggestions that they should be put together and Barapukuria be open pit mined like Phulbari as the underground mining has been very problematic. | 888icb
17/2/2019 12:04 | Have they started mining here yet? | kreature

15/2/2019 14:29 | very savvy chartist is emergo Emergo @EmergoCharts Following Following @EmergoCharts More Finished loading #GCM (avg 27p) & #INFA (avg 1.1p) earlier. Both popular retail stocks, often a red flag for me, but mechanics poised for +ve swings with supply drying up. Comfortable with well defined technical risk levels of c15% on both & exit plan should things turn against. | ssrover
15/2/2019 14:19 | buying up at 30.75p? | pembury
15/2/2019 13:56 | Anyway share price is telling us nothing is happening any time soon as the Banglas and Chinese would be all over this like a rash. | mickb1234
15/2/2019 13:56 | Hasina has also said the coal will be left for future generations and for when the technology is more advanced. A lot has changed since 2006 and coal price has incresed 10 fold. As has the ambitions of the country to become a middle income nation and to end it's energy poverty. Who knows what Hasina is thinking now or what influence the Chinese are making. | mickb1234
15/2/2019 13:36 | If I have possibly not been clear on the point I am trying to make...In the direct aftermath of riots in 2006 we had a supposed signed 'Phulbari Agreement' and the apparent statement Baxtea pointed out by Hasina but not directly quoted in her exact words. We then had contradicting views on this from the government before (and since) that suggest that this is not and never has been a priority of Hasina or the awami league, much to the distress of Anu Muhammad and the National Committee to Protect Oil, Gas, Mineral Resources, Power and Ports. Who incidentally, along with certain Bangla press, would have you believe otherwise.If she did actually say that statement, it defused a situation temporarily and as Baxtea says, she may now regret it, but important to note it certainly couldnt be construed as an 'election pledge' | wurrum |
