com - Identity data intelligence group GB delivered better-than-expected first-half results as profit more than doubled following a jump in revenue amid strong organic growth and acquisitions. For the six months ended 30 September 2019, pre-tax profit more than doubled to £8.6m from £3.6m on-year as revenue surged 62% to £94.3m. Adjusted operating profit jumped 119% of £21.5m. Revenue and adjusted operating profit were both £0.6m ahead of the performance detailed in the pre-close trading update issued on 24 October 2019, the company said. Revenue growth was driven by recent acquisitions and the favourable timing of some contracts for its fraud division, which were completed in the first six months, it added. Looking ahead, GB said it remained 'confident' about meeting full-year consensus for revenue and profit.

I think the day's of the dips after results are announced may well have gone.We could easily see 700p plus today and I do not see much of a retrace after that,

What a super read Revenues AND profit both £0.5million higher than specified in the trading statement A bullish confident statement and a positive outlook. Lots of NEW customers, some big names, KPMG and William Hill amongst them Acquisitions doing great. Organic growth motoring along nicely. I reiterate that I applaud GBG Management for their ‘measured̵7; statements which leave room for a nice ‘beat’ for final year results, I also welcome the fact that they incorporate their investors by actually releasing webcasts of their earnings results and important analyst presentation . I look forward to listening to it later this morning . This stock is imho a real keeper, global growth in markets that are growing nicely and seemingly at little risk from geopolitical turmoil, indeed potential frictions could actually increase growth. We shall wait to see how the market ‘values’ the company. I am delighted with the report S

Nice blog post this morning from GBG , I like the way they keep investors up to date with their business model and the methods they use to execute it. hTtps://www.gbgplc.com/newsroom/the-emt-approach-to-managing-life-insurance-pensions-sector-goneaways/ Looking forward to the full 6 month update tomorrow, most importantly the outlook and putting the meat on the bones re their success in integrating IDology and VIX, it would be great if they could signal that their ORGANIC growth is being maintained, certainly the figure for that growth suggested in the trading statement was very encouraging and way above the target of 10% Quite what the market makes of it, well we shall see. As a rare entity- a dividend paying AIM stock , I am hoping we acquire additional institutional interest. Till tomorrow S
