Update Across the US
The bill is simply a start for Ohio, but an important start. Ohio joins a list of 13 other states that have, at minimum, introduced legislation to legalize sports betting. The full list is California, Connecticut, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Oklahoma, and South Carolina.
Mississippi, West Virginia, and Rhode Island will have sports betting legalized betting ready to go for the 2018 football season. Rhode Island will only have betting available in two locations. Pennsylvania had legal betting, but includes a 59-page application and $10 million licensing fee that’s keeping casinos from applying. New York legally allows four on-site locations to take sports bets, but the New York State Gaming Commission has yet to enact the necessary regulations to allow them to begin taking wagers.
Nevada, Delaware, and New Jersey are the only states currently accepting sports wagers. New jersey is the latest to accept wagers, and had a roaring first two weeks that saw over $3 million in revenue combined for the 3 bookmakers in the state.

I think the scope of the opportunity is huge in terms of those who will want GAN services, but from what I understand the key is to pick the right deals/partners to proceed with. Those being defined as ones who have a strong and proactive marketing commitment to online action as opposed to those who just wish to have a presence.This is obviously a) because GAN have an ongoing participation in revenues (the part that will give this a massive valuation in due course imo) and b) because there is only so much resource they can commit so it's vital that they select the right deals.PPB clearly tick both boxes! Strategically there is an obvious fit too going forward and interesting the note references m&a and value in that sense.

Indeed. Liberum have now increased their price target to 85p (from 79p).

They say yesterday's news "materially increases the strategic value
of the company in the context of accelerating industry M&A".

They forecast EBITDA (pre amortisation of R&D) of £1.65M this year rising to £6.02m next year.

GAN has today announced that it is preparing to launch internet sports betting in New Jersey for FanDuel. This is the company's first deal in what is potentially a sizeable new market for GAN

Agree, someuwin. share price movement shows how quickly the mms are prepared to mark the price up if any reasonable size bid comes in but PI mugs selling will have it rightfully slashed twice as quick as anyone trading this is naive imo. I feel they are short so collecting shares while market absorbs the news. This has more than trebled in a few weeks and with a large placing patience will be rewarded. imo

Yes would tend to agree with that although having had the company confirm that the plan to achieve a US listing I'm not entirely sure it was just waffle. Anyway remains to be seen whether it be full, part, or not at all!Interesting to see some larger trades gone through rather than the odd couple of thousand!

I would doubt that GAN would qualify within three years.....MUCH more likely some predator will take us over. Smurfit was doing what we pay him to do, talk the company up in his medium term remark.
