aye am a bit disapointed in the RNS yesterday:
Gaming Realms Plc announces that it will be deferring the publication of its full year results for the year ending 31 December 2019 ("FY19 Results") until 28 April 2020. The Company had previously indicated its intention to publish during week commencing 13 April 2020. The audit is substantially complete, however the disruption of COVID-19 has delayed finalisation, as has been the case with many other companies.

Alongside the reporting of its FY19 Results, the Company will also be updating on its current trading.

Are they trying ot kitchen sink and Corona it (whilst trousering a subsatntial amount). So if teh audit is 'substantially complete' why did they not publish?

Interesting to note Flutter's quarterly trading statement today. Online gambling via Paddy Power showed a 17% Yr on Yr uplift. However the US showed a 260% Yr on Yr uplift. Admittedly there were some company specific reasons, but hopefully some of that was overall growth in the market which GMR has hopefully captured.

Well considering the share price has crashed from 11p you would think covid-19 would have had a very negative impact but it may just be the exact opposite! Online gaming surging due to everyone being locked down and no footy to bet on. This will be the share to be in over the coming months!People are dealing with global lockdowns in many ways. But when it comes to shopping, jobs, and entertainment, the Internet is providing to be the go-to place. In fact, there's so much demand for online services that many operators are getting overwhelmed. Against that backdrop, how are these businesses, more so gaming platforms, dealing with the sudden surge in customers?Releasing New GamesOnline gaming providers are doing what everyone expects businesses to do when demand increases: Increasing the supply of games. Whether you love poker or blackjack, Battle Arena or browser games, developers are working to circulate more games.

Some odd intra day moves here.

Whole sector is very volatile at the moment - something is going on...

There is a string read across from the announcements today by Gamesys and GVC. Both confirm that business volumes are good on the gaming side and unlike GVC GMR has no sports exposure.

My take on the CEO situation is that I'm not too concerned at no new CEO appointment on what would be a £250k + package at the moment is not a bad thing. For C-19 reasons preserving cash must be the short term priority.

2019 results must be due out soon and the trading update that usually accompanies the results will be very interesting, hopefully!

It seemed the company might finally have got on the right track by ditching B2C, signing new contracts, bringing Blandford on to the (admittedly useless) Board. But with CEO leaving without notice and no announcement of his replacement, I worry that there is no credible management. I would have bought more stock had there been confidence in the future.

Do you know anything about the new CEO? Or is the current Chairman going to do both functions permanently collect both wages of a struggling company?

Haha the bookie closures is another boost for online so even though the stock price of GMR has fallen from 11 down to 5 there is some light at the end of the tunnel. Hopefully a positive day Monday as bookies close and online usage bolsters.

Online gamblingCasinos were greatly affected because people have become reluctant to go to public gathering places. But in no way, it hampered the operation of online casinos and live games. One of the countries we can mention is Canada, where coronavirus has not barred people from playing live poker games Canada casinos provide to its customers. Yes, the number of infected people is not currently very high, but it should also be said that it is expected to rise, and for the time being casinos will be affected. Therefore people tend to be more active online, which sees an increase in the online gambling industry. You may assume that the ongoing pandemic should not leave time for playing online casino games, but as statistics show it is not the case now.Online gamingOnline games such as Fortnite, Overwatch, etc. are very much excepted to grow in this period. They have never lacked the gamers in their platform, but as many students and workers are moving to remote operation, it is highly likely they will spend a lot of money on these games. However, due to the safety reasons, The city-based Call of Duty League has shifted to a new format amid the coronavirus pandemic. In a statement, the league declared that upcoming matches would be played online as opposed to large events hosted by cities across North America and Europe.

My first shares in the company I had bought for 18 now I’m trying to buy the most I can at 4, so I can lower my average still a big gamble because I can’t see chairman appointing an CEO who will turn this company for better I presume that many people like me are trying to lower their average price of share so that time come it can be dumped on the market with minimum loss. With current management team I can’t see any other option

All stocks have crashed out bar the odd one and gaming realms which is pretty much sheltered from the whole debacle has also more than halved. Someone is going to make a shed load of money from this even if it is just director buys of late

Chairman has bought another 250K, he should take it private or appoint a CEO who knows how to deal with this. Buying or not buying this company needs major
development to restore confidence.

Let's hope so and hope we get some more good appointments. Talking to my Betfair manager he has said that online slot usage is surging as there isn't much footy on and usual betting avenues!

I absolutely agree that Blandford is an excellent appointment but with only 10 mil shares I don’t think he can implement any changes. If you research this company properly you will see that the Executive Chairman Michael Buckley led this company from 30 plus to barely 5 now... And on top of that, now he is playing the role of CEO without any background how the, B to B process works.
Do I believe that this company will come to high things? Absolutely. Do I believe that this company has a future? Absolutely.
Do I believe that the current management team has the capacity to do that? Not in a million years!

Agree somewhat with that however we have had some pretty substantial stake building by key directors and the previous appointment was a cracker! Hoping for a good year here and crack Christmas highs again once the corona virus hype has died down, even though that could actually boost online gambling activity.

Last 2 Years we have heard so many of these type of announcements and did not move the price one bit. For me the major problem is that the CEO left, with “immediate effect” and no news about a new CEO with better knowledge of B2B “. Simply amateurish
