Excellent results.Last 5 years H2 weighting average is +45%, so minimum year end eps 237p.........could be up to 270p, either way with the growth this is significantly undervalued IMO.DD

mammyyoko,

They did 34p H1 17 and were heavily H2 weighted.

EPS is H1 weighted. H1 17 60p H2 17 33p per Stocko - implies a miss against consensus forecast of 161p for FY18 - 93/60 x 97 = 150.35

A bit light for full year allstarforever, given they seem to double on half year? Looks compelling here. If near £3 eps full year, then it is really cheap.

P/E at approx 13 without even taking into account the H2 sales weighting or the December growth comment.

There are so many positives it's hard to pick out highlights but here are two:One of our key measures of our performance is return on capital. During the period our return on capital grew from 40% at November 2016 to 119% at November 2017. Web sales up 71%That big investment two years ago paying off today.

With gross margin of over 72% once all the operating costs are covered each 10 mill increase in revenue has a huge impact on profit.

Revenue forecasts for this year are 195m I believe. However if the current business momentum continues (approx 52%) growth yoy based on first half figures then GAW could hit 235m + in revenue for this year.

Does this help nod?

Top 10 show and with a bit more searching the 80 should show.

Was hoping there would be more of a sell-off here last week as wanted to buy. Alas for potential new investors it didn't happen. Missed my chance at the recent 2000p level and not sure I will get another opportunity unless there is poor update or something triggers nerves. Will watch with interest.

The S&P Global Luxury Index is 80% Consumer Discretionary class and 20% Consumer Staples.

The Top 10 of the 80 global includes Diageo. Pernod-Ricard and Estee Lauder as the only three "Consumer Staples".

Daimler (2nd), with Tesla in 6th and BMW 9th are predictable members.

Nike is currently the 4th largest holding in the S&P Luxury Index.

It seems many funds exist worldwide to track this S&P Global Luxury Index with the aim of beating its return.

I have not been able to find the full list of 80 companies. It would be interesting to see if any companies compare with GAW in terms of high-level characteristics e.g. leisure, collectables, ...

.

I don't think they'll adopt that approach this year - they didnt in 2016.

Trident5,

The H1 results announcement (10th Jan) last year didn't cover the Christmas period, there was an additional TS & Dividend the following week (17th Jan) that covered that.

Btw many thanks Martinthebrave for posting that video. Had some very useful background info from someone who seems to know what they are talking about. Has helped convince me there may be quite a bit more in the tank here, but still unsure how much...
