08/10/2021 13:51 | Market cap at just £200m. This could become a very large operation within a few years. One to hold long term. | careful
06/10/2021 07:25 | I see that they have successfully maintained their contract in the public sector framework. Good news as they are accepted by old clients as the new company. | our haven
25/9/2021 10:48 | Write up in IC, nothing new but got us as a HOLD. Which I have been since 2007 😀 | spudders

16/9/2021 13:08 | Still holding from the lows. Looks like the sector should be in focus as Kier results also good. COST seems to be the only one still struggling. | knowing
11/8/2021 13:34 | Ammu is this not GFRD | knowing
29/7/2021 10:03 | Breakout test coming up with the price at 161.5p. Further large blocks (500k and 524k yesterday and a 1.53m print on Tuesday) have been hitting the books here. Someone clearly lobbing in size at that key 160p resistance but have they been exhausted (Aberforth are a buyer disclosing just over 5%) to allow the breakout now? There are only 111m shares in issue here so significant and notable demand for shares here this week. All imo DYOR | sphere25
26/7/2021 14:00 | 1.44m gone through here @ 158.75P - significant trade. Price is range bound (illiquid blips aside) between 156p and 160p since 16th July and the re-rate on the forecast beat. GFRD barely batted an eye lid in the recent plunge down, so clearly some underlying demand judging by such price moves (GFRD has a tendency to lurch more than the market move on a sell off), but who is coming in for this big chunk, will more follow and can it breakout above 160p? All imo DYOR | sphere25
16/7/2021 11:35 | Was stuck in the doldrums for some time but now starting to get back towards sensible levels | knowing
15/7/2021 09:17 | Excellent! Costain also announced today - weaker statement weaker Board and a CEO who clearly needs educating on how to work with the markets. Much weaker in content than the full update provided by GFRD. | boozey
15/7/2021 07:42 | Good trading statement, at the upper end of market expectations, market should like IMO. | our haven
14/7/2021 08:47 | Reporting tomorrow so see if we get any price movement today either way to indicate sentiment. | our haven
07/7/2021 08:28 | Good to see the contract win and the continuing strength of the relationship with the client. Hopefully the contract has a reasonable margin to deliver long term value. | our haven
06/7/2021 17:58 | hxxps://www.scottish Looks like GFRD will need to defend a £14M claim for defects on the Cairngorm funicular railway. | willie99

24/6/2021 09:50 | Didn’t the Premier Milton holding go down from 13% slightly through? I don’t think it’s a new interest unless I am misreading it which is quite possible! Puzzled by the sudden increase in the last few days. | hbuilder
24/6/2021 09:35 | Amazed how GFRD are valued at a mere £153m Turnover well in excess of £1bn, order book £3bn. So many opportunities. So many impressive projects in the past. The Aberdeen Bye Pass, the new Forth bridge, the roof of the centre court Wimbledon, flood defences, schools and many others. All successfully completed but with low margins. Also tainted by CLLN type disasters within the sector. I am well invested here in the hope that things will improve within this sector. Insanely undervalued for company that does such socially important work. | careful
24/6/2021 08:55 | Possible buy out,or Take over 180p maybe ! | garycook |
