09/7/2020 12:27 | Not sure what you mean by property but stamp duty cuts are on housing and Galliford don't build houses | cc2014
09/7/2020 07:13 | Blackrock need to clear - But it does represent an opportunity - Not a trade but a medium term investment - Should be quite a bit of stimulation in the property market - | tomboyb

06/7/2020 12:14 | Looking weak. | swinsco
03/7/2020 11:51 | Hands up on this one.. I got it wrong. Kier update was very poor and with these updating in the next week or so, more downside could be coming. RNS contact wins are the only times this has a positive few hours of upside. | swinsco
03/7/2020 10:20 | IanB I bow to your greater knowledge but the likes of the Aberdeen by-pass appears to have been cost minus rather than cost plus had assumed this was fixed price although with some add ons which turned into a big loss which for gfrd became a mega loss when Carillion went bust. Be interested to know your understanding why Aberdeen was such a disaster. | mark1000
03/7/2020 09:39 | Ianb5004, do you remember what date is that RNS? | nikkookkin
03/7/2020 08:37 | Agree mark, through i did read in rns that GFRD stopped bidding on fixed price contracts in 2016. So they should not be loosing money on newer contracts ? Margins are thin but that is why the mcap is Actually lower than the cash and investments held with a massive £3.5 billion of contracts on the book. I think when black rock are fully out which must be close given their last TR1 this will rise. | ianb5004
01/7/2020 23:31 | Yes I agree good news BUT only if they make a profit on their work. They used to say they aimed at a 2% net margin after all costs and allocations. This was in my opinion the course of all the problems at 2% there is minimal room for miscalculations and black swan events. The whole industry was in a race to big losses (see Kier huge debts grown 100M in the last 6 months and Carillion gone bust ) it was never a problem the size of the order book just a bunch of busy fools working for negative returns It will be interesting to see if the industry and more importantly Galliford can start pricing contracts with more fat built in for the unforseen. | mark1000
29/6/2020 08:12 | Good news for GFRD: "PM Boris Johnson promising £1bn to rebuild crumbling schools". | fuji99
29/6/2020 06:14 | The UK Spending Drive for infrastructure will greatly benefit GFRD. | fuji99
28/6/2020 20:10 | GFRD; still in the value area 111.50p-117.80p, and this last dip has been more strongly accumulated than prior falls & should give strength to next move up. | jimsyone
28/6/2020 15:29 | Boris Johnson vows to spend big to 'build UK back to health' PM promises new schools, hospitals and infrastructure, amid unemployment warnings | tomboyb
28/6/2020 11:24 | Massive infrastructure gov't programme to be announced next Tuesday. Watching out for more contract updates from GFRD. (Leeds Towers last week). Expecting upward market movement looking at my charts. Slowly does it. Cannot see anything to hold this down much longer, other than overall short term market confidence. Who would sell these with that good news on the horizon and all that cash in the bank. Sitting tight and adding on the dips. (Crazy £1.14 last week, did not believe my luck). DDDD. | dandadandan
26/6/2020 14:10 | Mcap now £129m. Is it £138m in the Bank? Also racking up many new contracts. The share price is now less than half of that Libernum target price. Torrid times when you need lots of market patience. Getting ready for more contract updates. DDDD. | dandadandan
26/6/2020 10:46 | It's on the LSE. | swinsco |
