23/12/2020 09:06 | Do we reckon the multi news will be bundled up with the annual report? | gowski
23/12/2020 04:00 | Yes, it is a strong buy signal for me. Stock moves from weaker hands into string hands with more patience. If they release news on positive copper findings with a plan to immediately start drilling this stock is going to become very exciting. There are very large copper deposits sitting underneath the sands of the Kalahari, yet to be discovered. | the count of monte_cristo
23/12/2020 01:23 | What I love about this stock is that whenever there are sells they are always mopped up by others with deeper pockets or more patience. Something good is clearly about to emerge imo. | the skipper
18/12/2020 17:10 | Nice end to the week here. Should pop big time if there is news on Monday. | the skipper
16/12/2020 14:06 | I'm liking the copper story there, a lot. | the count of monte_cristo
16/12/2020 14:03 | Count, I made some dosh from XTR a good while back but haven't looked at it for ages as I am holding too many other stocks. Might pay it another visit if any of my other fifteen stocks pops though. | the skipper
16/12/2020 12:35 | Thanks Skipper, I agree. Are you also in XTR? I am only in these two stocks currently. | the count of monte_cristo
15/12/2020 17:51 | I had a one to one with CB a couple of years ago when he happened to be visiting Shard's offices at the same time as me. We went up to the bar near the top floor of the Walkie Talkie building together and had a couple of beers, and I then asked for his view as to which of his companies had the greatest upside potential.I was really surprised when he said it was GLR, as I thought that JLP was the one which would become a cash cow. Now if you look at how well JLP has done in the last year, that might give you an indication as to what's to come here, although I am thinking asset sale or JV is the way to do it for GLR and CB has form there. | the skipper
15/12/2020 12:55 | The terms of the mining license nowadays in Zambia are probably more strict and you have to have boots on the ground within a certain timeframe, hence maybe the reason for delaying application until JLP pull their fingers out. Most peeps over at JLP credit Leon with everything to the strategy and Zambian relationships but when I think of both these companies and the relationships, I think of Colin as a big driver for both companies. | the bull
15/12/2020 11:05 | . . Colin stated in the past, at Star Zinc, "all we need is a bulldozer with a plough hook on the back and an ore crusher, and we are in business ". The near surface vein of Willemite ore that contains a staggering 30% zinc content is easy pickings and gets the project off to a lucarative start. Teaming up with a company that can market this special ore, is a masterstroke, not only to profit from its over burden of zinc, but also its other alluring properties. As plump and florescent as Colin in his hi-vis vest. . . | bullster
14/12/2020 23:19 | Not long to wait for news here now as the annual report has to be issued by the end of the month and I am sure that CB will want to add some nice post year end events to it. There should already be a draft doing the rounds with advisers, but a couple of extra paragraphs could easily be added. | the skipper
14/12/2020 14:25 | another £60K in the coffers | the bull
14/12/2020 14:07 | Waiting for news now... | the count of monte_cristo
11/12/2020 16:22 | 2 v 1 on level 2 and Peel Hunt are now only offering 75k lots at 1.35. Dare I say that you really wouldn't want to be out of this over the weekend? :-) | the skipper
11/12/2020 11:16 | Yep, nice steady buying this morning, the last trade paying quite a premium over the ask. Just Berenberg on the ask now offering 100k lots at 1.25. so keep your buys to that level if you don't want to pay a premium | the skipper
10/12/2020 21:55 | The last trade of the day was a very small top up from me. I think the market makers were trying to catch a few out by widening the spread after that 1m buy but it didn’t work. | the skipper
10/12/2020 20:18 | Post from LSE fyi: Airborne EM ProgrammeToday 19:15Kavango have a breakdown of the different phases although you would have to go into the detail to compare fully1)start phase 1 survey - phase 1 survey complete - 4 weeks with some areas of indication - (GLR in this stage)2)phase 1 survey - start phase 2 - 16 weeks - i guess this can range from anytime really though and has so many variables its not comparable (available finances, speed of first review to highlight areas of interest, sunbcontractor availabillity etc)3)start phase 2 - end phase 2 - presumably areas of high interest - 8 weeks4) end Phase 2 survey - Phase 2 survey Data processed - 8 weeks5)Phase 2 Data Processed - start drilling 5 months | gowski
10/12/2020 20:15 | Shaking the tree for sellers me thinks | gowski

10/12/2020 13:19 | Interesting flurry of tiddly buys at 12.14 | gowski
09/12/2020 21:52 | I've been holding for years here. Hard to believe I may see my money back and perhaps more, but you can't argue with what's in the ground if it's valuable. | nick rubens
09/12/2020 15:52 | I've got some they can have, at 5p. | regandharry5
09/12/2020 15:45 | Keep your info coming this month, it is appreciated. | the count of monte_cristo
09/12/2020 15:12 | You're welcome Count. Unsurprisingly both bid and ask have ticked up since I last posted and this has flushed out a few sellers. Currently 1 v 2 at the new prices so let's see where we go from here. | the skipper |
