I would imagine the deal with JLP will only be announced once GLR has announced a mining permit. The permit is thought to be a given, but only once it's received will it unlock GLR's future cashflow, and hence the rerating of the share price. Note the zinc price is currently firming somewhat.

It doesn't look like any JLP deal will be concluded before christmas then, perhaps sable is taking longer to upgrade than planned

If anyone fancies phoning Andrew Sarosi, his number seems to be 01752 221937.

I can't imagine Colin letting IIs in at a discount unless absolutely vital for ongoing ops, as he would be diluting himself more than anyone.

Are we just so damn early in this and the stock is just unloved/ignored because of past failings or are we cannon fodder before a huge issue of stock to let II's in at special rates. At this market cap, it wouldn't take too long to accumulate a sizeable holding

Tim from the RNS on 21/8 and the podcast (post 181) CB talks of revenues of around $15m per annum:

'The MRE will allow for a 6-year life-of-mine small scale operation to produce rock mass of only 5,500t/month containing 12,000 t zinc metal per year to Kabwe. While in-house attributable revenues are projected at about USD15 million annually at current price, the annual all in cost is projected not to exceed to USD2 million'

So in this case does that assume less annual output from STAR than you posted (12,000 tpa) but with a higher percentage revenue share of the zinc to give them $15m per annum revenue - or am I missing something?

Also in the RNS re offtake agreement it mentions 'Ore supply for up to 60 000t tonnes (t) ore per annum ' which fits more closely with the 21st August RNS where it said '5,500t/month containing 12,000 t zinc metal per year to Kabwe':

Not got his no to hand.
Nice 2.5mill buy on Nex but it's very quiet!
Anything decent to buy( or sell) goes to NT.

Dave, an alternative would be to call the FD, just as oiltap has done.

Galileo is very much below radar - listening to the VOX podcast they suggest free cash of £10m on the Zinc toll mining project - if so how can this company only be valued at £2.5m.

Re-rates are in vogue in the junior mining space currently - this has to be in line for one to say the least.

DaveTheChef,
...regarding Birdie having applied for the mining license AND environmental permit. You posted on 27 Nov '19 - 15:29 - 156 of 176, that you had 'left a telephone message on their London Office' .... did you get a reply :-)

Taken from LSE, earlier today, care of oiltap's post
'I called Andrew Sarosi and had a quick chat. He is optimistic on getting the offtake agreement signed with JLP and they are at the final stage of negotiations - dotting the i's and crossing the t's. In addition I asked him about contracts with hauliers and miners. He said they had several quotes in, and they are working their way through them and it's looking good.'

Looking positive!

If one looks through the history, GLR's TVR RNSs are sometimes followed (within a week) by substantive news, either on projects and/or finance. I'm guessing there will be news of some kind before Xmas.

True, the strategic value of these assets may have increased to a US investor, but I imagine they would wish to buy out FMO at the same time, making the transaction more complicated. I haven't yet seen any transactions for REE projects, nor external investment in such projects (at least on AIM), arising from the desire of the West to become less dependent on China for rare earths. Does anyone know differently?

Thanks tim, politics now plays a part though, that is if some US company makes an offer.
