07/6/2015 11:11 | I used to be a gable fan but this lack of transparency/slipper jimo | luckymouse
05/6/2015 18:22 | Great end to the week here, hopefully much more to come | battlebus2
05/6/2015 08:04 | 30p looks likely and then on to the mid thirties. | battlebus2
04/6/2015 17:02 | Some decent trades today including 100k bought at 29p, Looks like we are heading back to the thirties... | battlebus2
04/6/2015 09:58 | AGM is held in Zurich because the top holder, a fund, is based over there. I think they've done it before so not unusual - but v convenient this time - they don't have to face pi's who have lost a fortune! | luckymouse
04/6/2015 08:52 | Could be another blue day. I won't say bounce :)) | battlebus2
03/6/2015 18:06 | adyfc 29 May'15 - 13:57 - 2819 of 2863 Give it a few days and Dewsall will be in with a buy to try and steady the ship no doubt. LOL | adyfc
03/6/2015 14:41 | Well he already owns a very substantial percentage. | battlebus2
03/6/2015 14:39 | Well, better than nothing, but a rather tiny top up by Mr Dewsall. | aimingupward2
03/6/2015 14:22 | No one mentioned the Directors Shareholding Gable Holdings Inc. (GAH.L), the European non-life insurance company, announces that today William Dewsall, Chief Executive Officer of Gable, bought 100,000 ordinary shares of 0.25 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 25.9 pence per Ordinary Share. Following the transaction, the beneficial and other interests of William Dewsall are as follows: Percentage of Issued Director Ordinary Shares Share Capital William Dewsall 24,843,967 18.36 | battlebus2
03/6/2015 14:19 | Ed i don't understand the business as usual, i've already pointed out the high risk here on several occasions which for that matter is with every stock to a degree. If i could affect every share price i'd be a multi-millionaire by now.. Thanks for the laugh anyhow. | battlebus2
03/6/2015 12:52 | Thanks for your reply, battlebus2. I'll leave it up to others to check the timing of your post 2850 and view the trades following that post. You recalled our chats on the MBH board. There too, you were in denial about being able to affect the trading in a small stock and consequently its share price. Your reply leads me to conclude it'll be business as usual for you. | ed 123
03/6/2015 12:32 | Ed I think your overestimating my following lol. Just others who also seen value at 25p. | battlebus2
03/6/2015 11:28 | Garbetklb and The Shuffle Man Yes, last year's agm was in Zurich too. Having read today's announcement, I tried to find the location on the internet. It's not clear to me. I think it might be this place, though I'm not certain ... And a link to the park As you'll see, the first of these two websites (the agm venue?) is in German language - not shareholder friendly for UK shareholders. The agm arrangements impose a cost and time penalty for any UK based shareholders wanting to attend. Was this necessary? Further, based on the photos of the setting and its location, I should think this venue will be a lot more expensive than some more modest UK venues. Is that how shareholders would like the company to spend some of its money? Some might enjoy a day in Zurich for the agm each year but I suspect that most UK based small shareholders will feel they have effectively been excluded from this important chance to question management. | ed 123
03/6/2015 09:57 | battlebus2 I don't believe it!!! That's my expression of surprise, using a reference to Victor Meldrew for effect. Since you ask, as I see it, you are in a somewhat difficult position. You have a strong following - witness the flurry of buys after your "In for a few more..." post this morning. You may want to post in a way that most others do - but like it or not, your ability to affect trading in small cap stocks makes you different. Imv, you, above most others, need to be careful with your posts lest you unwittingly draw the unwary/less experienced into losing money. Rest assured that I am not making any attack on yourself. I wish you well with your investments and I'll buy you a drink if we ever happen to meet. My concern is for the less astute investors. I hope you will share that concern. | ed 123
03/6/2015 09:40 | The previous AGM's were also held in Zurich so no surprise. | the shuffle man
03/6/2015 09:24 | Wd 123 Where were previous AGMs? Zurich does seem an odd choice - I'd have thought the 2 logical places would have been either Lichtenstein or UK....... All the best Garbetklb | garbetklb
03/6/2015 09:17 | What do you mean you don't believe it?? I've said before we should return to around the mid thirties so why not average down when the price is at it's lowest. You appear from our few crossings to be rather negative in stance like you were at MBH. Am I not entitled to say even with the undoubted mismanagement these imv are cheap. | battlebus2
03/6/2015 09:10 | battlebus2. It appears your strong following is in tact. Have you seen the share price since you announced your buy of this morning? Just wondering though .......... what happens to those who come late to this buying party? | ed 123
03/6/2015 09:01 | In for a few more... I don't believe it!!! Hi battlebus2. I presume it has to be a technical punt, hoping to catch a bounce? Btw, what do you think of the venue for the agm? Gable is listed on London's AIM market. They have a London office but no Zurich office (as far as I can see), yet choose to hold their AGM in Zurich. Could it perhaps be they'd like as few shareholders as possible turning up to the agm? How many of the small shareholders, who have lost money, are going to be able to attend and ask difficult questions? Another red light flashing? | ed 123
03/6/2015 07:05 | In for a few more... | battlebus2
02/6/2015 17:11 | Mkt cap down to £34m. Forecast to write £117m of premiums this year with a profit of just over £1m after the extra provisioning but in 2017 profit forecast to go back to £11m with a 2p dividend would put the shares on a yield of 8%. The market needs to start believing the figures but IF they can do these the shares are too cheap at this level. Need to be patient and hope they can deliver. | the shuffle man
02/6/2015 16:58 | Thanks prita, it's not going to be a quick fix but any improving signs should send us a lot higher. imv ofcourse... | battlebus2
02/6/2015 07:36 | Perhaps it won't get to c20p bb2, I hope for holders it doesn't. If it does though, I'd probably take a little stake. Sometimes the market likes round numbers! At low levels, bid possibility perhaps? Good luck holders, I wish you well. | prita
01/6/2015 18:17 | I think they need to sort out the the new Basle II solvency rules which come in at the beginning of next year before we see a sustained recovery in the share price. Not selling here as we must be near a bottom. | the shuffle man |
