Anyone got any news on these boys? Rumours say that if they win the court case they will be highly profitable. Until then their sales to local councils has been frozen by the O.S. case. So why are these priced so low?!

if i understand correctly the court case cannot be allowed to happen, os cannot go public on their behaviour - remember they are charter bound !!

legal fees will still be mounting up, but getm cannot simply lay down on this one.

getmapping is a tightly held stock, very few shares change hands, this of course
adds to the severety of price movement.

This up coming court case could cost a lot of money in legal fees if they lose. Ordinance Survey have been producing maps for years this must add weight to their defence.

a little birdie tells me that the OS matter will soon be very favourably resolved.

note, the queen is no longer a major shareholder - she sold out at the very top.

market cap is currently at cash value - with OS deal nearly over, and i like the new spanish deal which is all in for free.

little or no downside at the current price especially as several vct are holding to keep, and the stock overhang is all but cleared now.

ive bought 30000 more today at 10p

It's probably just factoring in the risk and more importantly the costs of them losing.
Presumably the Ordnance Survey think they have some defence.

Why the fall today? Ordnance Survey are in breach of contract and will have to pay out. GMP must still have £3 mill cash. Is this just a case of pricing down to allow some big institution a chance to buy cheaply?

These guys are making a serious amount of money. They are selling aerial maps to local councils who use them to plan where to build new housing. Also are making lots from the book version of the UK maps.

Stock is worth 200p a share on current earnings projections.
