12/8/2016 08:31 | The debt has started to reduce and they have annouced they are working to reduce it furter. Greater profits and the reduction in the cost of borrowing will help..But more importantly they have lots of big assets for sale could help quickly reduce it. One for example is G4S Israel for which I found this article this morning:http://www.h | bprofit
11/8/2016 20:32 | ctive this has too much debt that is the problem | invisage
11/8/2016 09:05 | I would not be surprised to see this 300p by September, just read this from the header: ==================== G4S plc (Formerly Group 4 Securicor plc) is the world's leading provider of security solutions, with a presence on six continents. The company operates in two key sectors: Security Services (including Manned Security, Security Systems and Justice Services) and Cash Services. G4S was formed from the merger between Securicor plc and Group 4 Falck A/S’s security business, which completed in July 2004. G4S is the largest employer quoted on the London Stock Exchange and has a secondary stock exchange listing in Copenhagen, with operations in more than 110 countries and over 623,000 employees. ==================== As anyone will know who runs a business, if your staff are busy if priced correctly you will make money. GFS has 623000 of them. The potential here is bigger than any other company on the planet in these very uncertain times. With the very wealthy wanting cash protected and now people needing protecting more than every, look at the recent Bernie Eccleston situation, just terrible. Any fund manager worth his salt will be accumulating these and the other companies I mention as much and quickly as possible. dyor regards active | srpactive
11/8/2016 08:05 | Buy and hold, the dividend will rise in tandem with the profits. This is an enormous company with such potential, as I have been saying for a long time, the world is changing but people are not moving financially accordingly in my honest opinion. Interest rates are actually negative so waste of time there, so you need a return based investment, property too illiquid and yesterday's investment, so it goes to assets that will appreciate and safe. Gold is one, but I prefer the related companies ie miners as you already know, hgm and paf, gambling gvc and world money security and personal security GFS. I hope that helps, selling a few to buy lower is no harm but be careful you are not selling a run away horse. Edit: I do have exposure to oil via lamprell (lam), once the oil price rises and it will the rig builders will be in demand, so I hold lam and have been buying recently. Aly for income. dyor regards active | srpactive
10/8/2016 22:36 | Active, are you a buy and sell man or buy and hold for a few years? | coxsmn
10/8/2016 10:11 | Into auction, must be 10% up from the open. | enami
10/8/2016 08:56 | Green shoots are appearing there, they have to announce sometime this month. dyor | srpactive
10/8/2016 08:51 | active,Good for you.Someone is very happy today.Next ALY would be nice !!! | garycook
10/8/2016 08:39 | Yes, you are correct I have mentioned that a few times up and down certain threads. I am just so surprised they have had so little comment from the press. I have said security, online gambling and gold miners are the places to be over the next five years. dyor regards active | srpactive
10/8/2016 08:33 | With the world in its current state of insecurity would not surprise me to see GFS hitting a new 3 year high in the next 6-12 months. | bprofit
10/8/2016 08:11 | Looking good, my 1019 post, has bore fruit. dyor regards active | srpactive
10/8/2016 08:08 | Plus 7.5% at the open, next upside target 1.618 Fib at 236p. | enami
10/8/2016 08:01 | Auction extension, must be a big move coming. | enami
10/8/2016 07:48 | Results look OK on first read through. Interim dividend maintained 3.59p although Alliance News reported Deutsche Bank thinks it will be under threat. An interim dividend of 3.59p per share for the six months ended 30 June 2016 will be paid on 14 October 2016 to shareholders on the register on 2 September 2016. Out of the long downtrend from 300+ now and into an impluse Wave. Chartwise upside targets, 200MA at just over 200 within reach. 100% Fib target from the (rather ridiculous) Brexit low 210.6 reachable. free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | enami
08/8/2016 10:11 | Yes, quite right my friend, another positive is the press are being very negative into the lead up into the results. Low expectations, deliver better, share price rise. dyor regards active | srpactive
07/8/2016 11:20 | Interim results due Wednesday. | coxsmn
05/8/2016 09:01 | Closed above the 50 and 100 dma moving averages, which is most positive. It has not crossed the 100dma for a long time. Lets hope we follow srp ( that is serco not me ) performance. dyor regards active | srpactive
04/8/2016 12:41 | Looking very strong now, lower rates on the debt will help. Hopefully a charge through 190p which will put us in good shape to get back over 200p. dyor | srpactive
27/7/2016 17:03 | Good close, breakout. | srpactive
27/7/2016 13:38 | Chart looking good, 200p soon. dyor | srpactive
20/7/2016 10:41 | Looking steady at the moment, a close above 180p would be the beginning of a move a lot higher , the wealthy must really be considering very high level security of their families very highly now, all this world trouble is only going to get worse unfortunately. dyor regards active | srpactive
17/7/2016 09:17 | 10 August Half-Year Results Due. Chartwise, it's quite boring, refuses to go above the 50MA. If they come up with some REALLY positive results and forecasts then could possibly push up out of this current Wave to target 210ish. | enami
17/7/2016 08:04 | They mentioned the other month that they could work with existing UK major banks to provide cashiers at banks to customers only wishing to carry out a transaction face to face with an official. I feel this would be a very good move indeed. dyor | srpactive |
