Ok - this is a bit nuts now. Fallen to a fwd of 6. RCH is on 5.75 (pension adjusted) but future had a far more digital existing business (which tend to trend on higher ratings - usually at least 12). Anyone able to shed any light? No obvious short notes I can see?

Week of March 16

The ongoing coronavirus pandemic continues to cause widespread effects throughout the sports world.

The cancellation of March Madness registers an enormous hit on the entire sports betting industry. It also appears it will be months, not weeks, before US sports return to action.

Follow the most recent legislative happenings on our sports betting bill tracker as 2020 sessions heat up.

Keep an eye on our Twitter feed for updates throughout the week, and don’t forget about the weekly LSR podcast either.

Plenty of news on Tencent which posted strong earnings overnight showing huge surge in online gaming since the start of the outbreak - millions of new gamers using their platform. Hopefully some read through for FUTR.

How soon would FUTR be expected to get terms of a new transaction (minus the 3 titles) together and agreed? I'd like to see something announced in the next day or so at the latest. With directors out of their close period hopefully they might buy some shares as well or better still provide an update on current trading/web traffic to add some flesh to the no impact statement from last week.

Missed out on the sub 700p but topped up at 737p. Not convinced this has bottomed but somewhere near.

Correct and even with the 3 titles there's room for negotiation.

Correct by looks of it unless Future can suggest something else (sale of titles most likely).

So it can go through subject to divestment of 3 titles?

Looks like recent volatility is shorters fighting it out. Coltrane have finally started to close and are down to 1.47%. Luxor seems to have increased. (Source FCa spreadsheet) Doesn't make any sense to me being short at these levels following the recent RNS and today's budget announcement.

There's a respectable amount of income that still comes from Bookazines and mags, I don't know how much of that is digital, but it will still make a positive difference to the bottom line.

Yes, yes, but what about Covid-19?

Following yesterday’s incredibly upbeat and reassuring statement I decided to get back in, Kovid-17 is going to get much worse before it gets better, but FUTR seems to be Kovid- proofed.
I was initially going to wait for the regulatory decision next Monday on the TI acquisition but the cash is sitting there at a derisory 1% interest rate and given the wording of the statement the present share price looks to be a very sound foundation..we shall see

Fantastic update and welcome rise today. FTSE pointing to a 3% rise tomorrow so expect further gains for FUTR. Good chance of a V shaped recovery as the market wakes up to the idea that many of those stuck at home will be reading mags and playing computer games. Results in May going to be one of the few bright spots to look forward to

Another 2 fingered salute to the shorters - no impact on profits at all from COVID 19. The company is on a forward PE of 13 - mega cheap. Great to see momentum continuing as well. The interim results are going to be excellent in May.
