20/6/2017 13:04 | If that's true it sounds a bit like a matched bargain system by default. The irony! | chadders
20/6/2017 12:51 | rien ne va plus Sell orders only allowed now. | j777j
20/6/2017 12:49 | I give up. There's no point in trying to debate with a fool. | effortless cool
20/6/2017 12:46 | They would try to balance the longs to shorts. They will not want to be holding any shares when delisted, that is not their business. Call up IG and ask. I only speak from experience although that was Man Financial. | sheep_herder
20/6/2017 12:46 | Many brokers have already stopped accepting buy orders,so good luck closing your shorts | j777j
20/6/2017 12:44 | Sheep_Herder, Are you a liar or a fool? Both perhaps, but certainly not neither. How do you think that that spread betting firms balance their books when they have a net short position? They buy shares in the market. That has a cost, and it is clearly more than 0p. | effortless cool
20/6/2017 12:42 | Sheep hunter.......and the rest. Baaaah! Baaaaah! | j777j
20/6/2017 12:38 | I doubt any of the SB firms will take any new bets EC. | sheep_herder
20/6/2017 12:38 | yes with unlimited liability. Sounds good risk reward | j777j
20/6/2017 12:37 | Call up an SB firm and ask them. Any open bets at the time of delisting will be ended at 0p. I've had it done to me before. The SB firm will by now have balanced its books so that it has a minimal or zero exposure to the underlying share. All longs/shorts will probably not be able to close their bets until delisting now. | sheep_herder
20/6/2017 12:36 | Quick, short it with every penny you've got - sheep_hunter says it can make you a fortune! | effortless cool
20/6/2017 12:33 | Yes, that part, obviously. Two fools/liars agreeing does not equate to a fact. | effortless cool
20/6/2017 12:29 | Which part? The fact that the shorts can close at 0p? You've had two people already state that this is the case. | sheep_herder
20/6/2017 12:22 | A more sensible question would be why would anyone possibly imagine it is true? | effortless cool
20/6/2017 12:18 | Effortless Cool, why do you think it untrue? | sheep_herder
20/6/2017 12:17 | I don't know if this quote is real but, if it is, it is patently untrue. Henchard 20 Jun '17 - 08:58 - 1848 of 1871 1 0 "... our repeated sell advice all the way down from well over 200p and including 40p will be vindicated as shorts will be able to settle after today at 0p." | effortless cool
20/6/2017 11:50 | Feels like a double stitch up now. I wonder how long they sat on the share register data for? | zcaprd7
20/6/2017 10:38 | Perhaps the Inst's have a buyer lined up once they take them private - don't forget that | euclid5
20/6/2017 10:36 | They are clearly in cahoots I wonder whether this was some sort of feud between Standard Life and Ivan Teh. Have Credit Suisse been promised the IPO on Nasdaq? | j777j
20/6/2017 10:29 | You just couldn't make it up could you? Insti's voting for the delist and then adding. Against all the odds this will probably finish blue. | chadders
20/6/2017 10:22 | #I'veturnedblue | j777j
20/6/2017 10:20 | Now that is what I call a good old fashioned tizzy! | kemche |
