05/3/2010 12:57 | Do you know when their figures are released? | monis
05/3/2010 12:55 | The longer I ponder on this almost farcical situation, mm, the more pessimistic I become that a realistic offer will finally be made. Would a genuinely interested predator dither this length of time before acting? 40 years of dabbling makes me think not, there must be some problem at their end holding them back and, by firing endless questions at FUL, - which, according to FUL's FD, has been happening - has given them a stalling interlude. I just hope now that the company's performance has continued to recover during the first half year and that this comes across when their figures are eventually released. | ansc
04/3/2010 18:56 | ansc Totally agree with you. Having said that, perhaps they're very busy looking after themselves. I'll be on the phone again too. I phoned a few weeks and was told 'leave' was the reason there was nobody to talk to. | mountain man
04/3/2010 11:37 | Fifteen weeks since the 'approach' made to the company and not a peep from them since. Is that good PR with shareholders, long suffering at that! No, I think not so I've been in touch with the company - the secretary on leave yet again, how much leave does that man get? - to let them know of my disquiet and I would urge fellow shareholders to do likewise. After all, I think we have been patient for long enough and it's about time management told the enquirer to 'put up or shove off'. I've also let it be known that I'll be writing to the chairman next, in three weeks time, if nothing has been announced by then. Man the action stations! | ansc
22/2/2010 11:38 | The person who sold 200k this at a measly 2.50p morning must have been in on Friday and took their phone call! Lol | ansc
21/2/2010 20:00 | I had a phone call on Friday as well. However I was out but apparently someone from Fulcrum wishing to speak to me. I presumed someone has hold of share register and I thought it might be a scam. | acumen
19/2/2010 17:36 | I hope you didn't give them your address as it sounds like a scam. | bbd2
19/2/2010 14:11 | A sales broker or actual info about discussions? | monis
19/2/2010 14:08 | Sorry I did not catch their actual name "------ Associate".What I posted above is exactly what he said to me. | dak
19/2/2010 13:20 | explain more please, firm of associates?... | monis
19/2/2010 13:18 | For what it's worth just had a phone call from some firm of "Associates" asking to confirm my address so they could send out some very positive news re FP in the next ten days DYOR | dak
19/2/2010 12:50 | With SeyP buying more shares over the last couple of days, it would appear to me that they are in a win, win position. As company broker, they almost certainly will be 'au fait' as regards this year's trading and are also, presumably, being kept in the picture about the approach situation. As a Money Maker, where can they go wrong? I'm very envious! | ansc
10/2/2010 08:24 | It looks as though you're right Ameer. Not having access to L2, I had no idea that SeyP could act as both Broker and Money Maker to a company. You learn something new every day. But my opinion of them remains unchanged! | ansc
09/2/2010 21:05 | Is Seymour P dealing with Fulcrum shares like a market maker? A sell is a buy and a buy is sale on their books. | ameer
08/2/2010 12:03 | Yes i noticed those buys earlier as well. | monis
08/2/2010 12:02 | It's heartening to see buyers still nibbling; 100k @ 3.68p and 40k @ 3.60p this morning. It doesn't look as though I'll be getting my hoped for 3.00p after all! | ansc
07/2/2010 14:00 | i remember when this was 18p, i thought that was really good at the time, dumped them when they dropped to 17p, thank god! they'll get bought out one day i suppose, gd luck to those who are still in | bobp
04/2/2010 20:04 | Just two trades executed today; someone obviously got tired of the waiting and dumped 151k at a measly 3.0p, five hours later 100k of these were sold at 3.58p (which equates to a mark-up of a mere 19.3%) giving the Misery Maestros a rapid £580 profit. Nice work if you can get it! | ansc
01/2/2010 17:28 | ansc I agree- the paucity of information has been shocking over the years. I just think that due diligence should be just about cleared by now, even allowing for Christmas. I know very well what the exercise entails and this is afterall a small company. As far as ownership is concerned - I think many CEO's forget that as soon as they take their seat! dyor | mountain man
01/2/2010 14:44 | I wish I could be as positive in my thinking as you are, mm. Unfortunately, I've been in FUL for too long and am yet to be enamoured by their Board's attitude to shareholders whom, after all, actually OWN the company - you'd hardly believe it with the dearth of communications over the years. Nine weeks since the approach announcement so I would have thought some kind of update regarding the state-of-play in negotiations is the least that us owners should expect. | ansc
01/2/2010 12:23 | ansc 'Unlikely' = does not rule it out. It's well over 2 months since the initial approach - if things were not going well, I guess we may have heard news by now. Final stage now of haggling over price and future jobs? dyor | mountain man
01/2/2010 11:52 | Strange, very strange. I've just spoken to the company FD - company secretary unavailable yet again, is he ever in the office? - and, according to him, there is still no news to give to shareholders hence the deafening silence from them; that situation is unlikely to change before the end of this month as questions are still being asked of the company by the unnamed party to which FUL are responding. There is little that the company can do to hasten things along apparently. Tail wagging the dog by the sounds of it. Mr Knight was also surprised when I mentioned to him this morning's share price rise. As far as his information is showing, the mid-price is still 3.25p = 3.00/3.50p. Weird! | ansc
01/2/2010 11:16 | No trades reported as yet but share price firming? Intriguing ..... | ansc
25/1/2010 14:23 | any thoughts? | monis |
